All good, great informative cruise, good close ups of crocodiles and other local wildlife , and captain was full of information
A truly valuable experience and great value for money. Easy to find and clear instructions about the two different cruises.
Talk about value for money! Under $40 a ticket you get access to two great river tours. We went on a 3:30pm from Daintree Village, loved the serene simplicity of being on a small boat operated by a local talking about their experiences. They know the usual hang out spots for all the wildlife. We saw 3 crocs, tree snakes and some unique birdlife. We loved it so much we went back the next day to do the sister tour which was included in the ticket price which leaves near the ferry crossing. We saw at least 6 crocs, the guide knew them by name and where they live. Was really enjoyable - not flashy, just immersed in the environment with a small group.
A nice tour on the river and we saw 2 large crocs and a baby. also saw some snakes and birds. boat driver was very knowledgeable and made it interesting.
An amazing trip and the facilitator had extensive knowledge about wildlife and the ecosystem at the Daintree but the best part was seeing “Barrett” a 4.5m male crocodile.
What an amazing experience! The Daintree River Cruise was one of the highlights of our trip. We were lucky enough to see several crocodiles in their natural habitat, and the scenery along the river was absolutely stunning. Even the cruise itself was incredibly enjoyable. Slowly navigating through the beautiful Daintree River, surrounded by ancient rainforest, was a unique experience and very relaxing. The views were breathtaking from start to finish. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and had an excellent eye for spotting wildlife. The commentary was both interesting and informative, which made the experience even better. If you’re visiting the Daintree region, this cruise is a must-do. It offers a perfect combination of wildlife, nature, and beautiful scenery. Highly recommend
Thank you for the wonderful review! We’re delighted the Daintree River cruise was a highlight of your trip. Seeing wild crocodiles in their natural habitat, surrounded by rainforest scenery, is what makes the Daintree so special. We’re glad you enjoyed the guide, commentary and relaxing river experience.
The view was stunning! The weather was perfect! The guide was knowledgeable! We were able to see few crocs even baby ones! Worth the money!👌👌👌
Guide was very knowledgeable and great with kids too. Saw some awesome crocs and birds and it was a lovely smooth run.
We did the Croc 1-hour river cruise, which includes two different cruises (one departing from Daintree Village and the other from the saltwater cruise near the Cape Tribulation ferry terminal). We did them a few days apart, and both were excellent. We had Matt as our guide on both trips and he was fantastic – super knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly very experienced at spotting crocodiles. He had a great eye for finding them and positioned the boat well so we could get really good views without disturbing them. On one cruise we saw a crocodile poking its head out of the water, and on the other we saw three baby crocodiles about a year old sitting on different logs, plus a rare hatchling, which was a highlight. The check-in staff were also lovely and welcoming, adding to the overall experience. Both cruises were not crowded at all, which made it feel peaceful and relaxed. It was a really enjoyable slow cruise down the river and through the billabongs, taking in the unique jungle environment and wildlife. Overall, a very relaxing and memorable way to experience the Daintree and see crocodiles in their natural habitat.
Very relaxed atmosphere, friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable staff. We saw 3 female crocodiles despite the unfavourable weather.
