Customized Private Bike Tour of DC

Jeff was a great tour guide with lots of historical and recent knowledge of the city, monuments, and recent events that made the experience very engaging. He did a great job of keeping our kids (15 and 12) entertained. Very happy to have booked this tour and highly recommend.

We booked a bike tour of DC for our family with three 14 year olds, and were blown away! Jeff was absolutely amazing in tailoring a tour that kept us all engaged, and we had a great time! He worked with us to help with an issue the secondary site had with our booking, and was incredible to work with through the whole process. Jeff’s tour is a must for anyone visiting DC! We got got to see it all, and in a fun and meaningful way. Thank you, Jeff!!

Bottom Line: Jeff is an amazing human who happens to have an incredible amount of passion for and knowledge of our nations history. Grateful that my family was able to experience this masterclass in said history. We are all better for it. Details: Concierge is right! This was a fully personalized experience even before the tour. Due to some scheduling conflicts and weather considerations, Jeff coordinated with me directly to settle on a time that was most flexible for all of us. Jeff came prepared for all things we might need on the tour. He ensured everyone was comfortable and safe. I think the best part was how he got to know each one of us a little bit and was able to weave that knowledge into the tour plan and engage us all (elementary age kids, college-aged kids, crusty middle-aged parents) on a personal level. We had so much fun and learned a ton! Follow-up after the tour was immediate and again very personalized. Great experience and highly recommended!

Jeff is the Best of the Best! His wealth of knowledge of DC is absolutely incredible. From our pick up to drop off he didn’t miss a beat. We decided to meet Jeff on location as we were staying at the National Harbor outside of DC. He had our bikes and water ready! We got a quick intro and off we went. It was a beautiful day and hit just about everything on our ride. One thing Jeff forgets to mention is he becomes your personal photographer along the way which is a dream. He knows all the best places for photograph opportunities which only adds to the experience afterwards. The amount of info he gave to us through out of trip, I wish I was able to record him! 10/10. When we were ready for lunch he suggested going down to the warf for lunch as he knew we liked tacos and again another 10/10 experience. We traveled about 6.5 miles during our day and we probably could have kept going. It was such a fun trip and something we have never done before. We can’t stop talking about it!! Thank you so much Jeff for a great experience.

This was a singular DC experience; there's no way we would have seen half of the sights or learned a tenth of what we did with Jeff's custom tours. If you really want to see and learn about the nation's capital, this is your best option.

We were so impressed by Jeff and his second Marianne. The quality of the bikes, complementary snacks, and water bottles all added to a wonderful day chasing our family member as she ran the Marine Corps marathon. Jeff’s knowledge of DC his ability to shift given road closures made this method of seeing a family member in a road race the best possible. A bonus, we didn’t know until he shared about 100 photos he took throughout the course of the morning,that he’s a phenomenal photographer and not only caught us in planned photos, but his candids told the story of the day that we would’ve never captured on our own.

I loved this ride!!! Jeff had great stories about DC and the surrounding area, from historical perspectives to modern times. The balance of rides and stops was perfect. Jeff’s enthusiasm for the cycling community was contagious too. Highly recommend!

The Ride of Our Lives September 2025 My husband, myself and our dog Bonnie recently completed the Great Allegheny Passage and C&O Canal Towpath with our guide, Jeff Miller of DC Cycling Concierge. The trip was an unforgettable adventure. Jeff was outstanding providing excellent insights into the history and landmarks along the way. Jeff was patient with us and traveling 350 miles by bicycle with our dog. The trip was well organized, meals well planned and the itinerary struck a nice balance between riding time, rest, and exploration.

My husband and I did the DC Wilderness Tour with Jeff and it was an amazing experience. We've lived in Dc for over 20 years but had never been to Anacostia Park. We saw so much wildlife - the ride was a nice combination of nature and city sights. Dc is such a green, bike friendly city and it was so nice having Jeff navigate the way. Besides being an incredibly kind and likable guy, Jeff has an encyclopedic knowledge of DC history and its many historical sights. Highly recommend their bike tours as a unique way to see the city while getting a nice dose of cardio!
