Excellent excursion. Nilo was very attentive throughout the entire trip.
Cute and magical place over 5000 meters high, everything good but lunch, the truth in the buffet give very little protein, should improve it
It is a good challenge for people without problems with hypertension or physical impairment. The tour van takes you to the base 4 thousand meters high and from there you can walk 4 km. Or ride a horse or motorcycle. 1 hour of climb with 3 stops or according to your health plus stops. People living at sea level, watch out. As in my case, there was a lack of air, but a quick recovery. Upstairs there's plenty of air and ice cream. Good experience. Return in 25 min
A wonderful experience, I was a little afraid of the height and thinking that it would affect me, I opted this tour for me last day of activities in Cusco, to be able to acclimate and not to affect me much, also I took a gel and special pills for altitude sickness, we took a tour of climbing in quadricycles and it was an excellent decision, we enjoyed the landscape, we made nice videos of the journey and when we arrived we only walked a very short and flat stretches, we reached the viewpoint and it was wonderful and spectacular, we took beautiful photos and videos and when we descended it began to snow, we descended without problems, all this thanks to the Cusco Grand Adventure agency that gave me this option of the quadricycles, because due to my knee injury I could not do it, I am super happy that I was able to reach more than 5 thousand meters high and enjoy this wonderful spectacle of nature ⛰️🌈💝🇵🇪
Views are amazing. Our guide Hector was incredibly informative, kind, and professional. Our guide Samuel was very skilled and efficient. If you want to be picked up from your hostal/hotel, have 2 meals provided, and a great tour of one of Peru’s gems, I highly recommend booking with these guys.
An experience never before lived In my life, I loved and more than satisfied with the treatment and intentions provided, delighted
The destination itself is great, so the experience should have the same starting point for all the tours. That said, this agency felt more of like “I know a friend who owns a van and knows the route to the mountain.” The van’s seating were very uncomfortable for a 3-4 hour drive and didn’t have AC, so windows were open. No issues with it on a normal road, but a big chunk of the road time to the mountain is not paved so dust will come inside. Glad I don’t suffer from asthma or any respiratory problems. Also, the tour doesn’t honor the time as shown in the itinerary: it said from 4-4 and I was picked up at 5am. Needed to cancel two reservations back in Cusco due to arriving 3 hours later than expected. Why? God only knows. The guide itself had a great energy.
The road to the mountains is a bit bumpy, I recommend not to eat too heavy breakfast or take some medication for dizziness. Once you arrive at the base camp, the view is already spectacular, climbing can be a bit heavy, if you climb on foot I recommend climbing calmly but without prolonged breaks, full make this excursion on your first day in Cusco, I would recommend leaving it to the end, the height of the place can affect you quite a lot. Once at the top you can only enjoy the spectacular views, you do not want to go down. Our guide, John Wick, was very empathetic throughout, plus we enjoyed a very good breakfast and lunch and in good quantity. I found the quality of transport very good.
The climb on foot is pulled, but there is an option to climb and descend by motorcycle (70 soles and 90 turns), or by horse (begins with 70 soles and goes down along the climb). The landscape is even more beautiful on sunny days. It was cloudy when I went, but it was worth it. To take a photo in the hand are 5 soles and the stamp on the passport costs 2 soles
We had a very good guide named Ronald and a good driver. The buffet on the way was good. A great experience and a good price.
