Met with Peter our tour guide who was so patient with us (after we went to the wrong Locke) he was gracious and kind, and even though the dad jokes kept coming (he was actually very funny) he made our tour of Cambridge such a delight. We were part of a good sized group on a sunny day so he ensured that we could all hear but picked places to stop in the shade - which was much appreciated in heatwave! His facts and back pack full of more facts and photographs had me and my teen gripped! We even tried out his science tour - which was absolutely superb! Peter was extremely friendly and thoughtful when it came to our needs as a group! He also had great recommendations at the end! I absolutely recommend terrible tours!!
Very excellent tour! I’ve toured for more than one time but Peter’s tour and introduction is the most interesting and memorable one!
Thanks for the review!
This is an amazing experiences, Peter has very detailed guidance, and there are really interesting stories involved
Many thanks!
Peter is really nice and interesting, explaining extremely well and bringing us a wonderful experience
Another 5* for Peter - thanks!
I learnt so much with Peter, he made the tour great for me. A very intereactive and enjoyable tour.
Thanks on Peter's behalf!
We had a great tour with Peter! The facts were super interesting and the tour was comprehensible to varying levels of English.
Great to hear and that Peter was able to tailor to your group!
Sid our guide met us exactly on time with a warm welcome, wearing a Terrible Tours T-shirt so we could recognise him immediately. He was very friendly and informative with his local knowledge from growing up and living in Cambridge. He gave us plenty of time to ask questions. We were extremely lucky, as the only people participating in the tour were myself and my friend. At the end of the tour at our request, he provided us with some good suggestions for pubs and eateries to try. We had such a lovely guided walk, I enjoyed it more that the open top bus tour and the punt on the river tour which I have done before, as I only live 50 minutes away from Cambridge and visit about once a year. I wish I had done this guided walk years ago, as it's so informative and gives you your bearings around the charming centre of Cambridge.
Thanks for the lovely review and well done Sid - do try 'Creepy' or even 'Curious' in term times (when Sid is eye's down at Uni so you'll get a different guide - every tour is a different performance!)
Fantastic tour today with Peter. Such a great guide full of knowledge and passion for the history. Thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend.
Another great review for 'Peter the great!'
The tour was amazing and very entertaining! Our guide Peter was very funny and friendly! Overall a great experience and I learned so much about Cambridge! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thanks!
We loved this tour. Our guide Alex was excellent - with great stories that the children enjoyed and felt they could participate in. He even practiced a bit of Spanish for the benefit of one of our little ones. Highly recommend.
Many thanks - and a hidden talent unlocked for Alex, I'll start getting him doing Spanish tours....
