It was a very nice show! They explained to us the history behind o each dance , the country and the folklore costume . They are very lively and kind people! Also we truly recommend to book the workshop because you get the chance to paint a heart and a horse toy to get back as souvenir!!! Truly amazing, really loved the workshop! The place is also pretty beautiful with traditional tools, textiles and clothes
This was such a wonderful experience- not only for the very rich culture shared but also the warmth and enthusiasm. Dancing, making crafts, stirring music, we couldn’t have asked for a better infusion of Croatian culture to start our tour of the country.
This is a unique and wonderful experience. A taste of real Croatian history and culture in a personal and homely atmosphere.
I had a nice, fun and educational experience. I was a solo (evening weekday) attendee, although you would've thought that Ivan and Ana were performing for a group. Their enthusiasm, passion and knowledge was both impressive, and evident of their commitment to share, educate, and preserve a variety of their cultural customs. I recommend this experience for others.
I had an exceptional experience. This is an activity I recommend to everyone, without hesitation. Ivan was great from start to finish: welcoming, passionate and deeply attached to his culture. This immersion in Croatian culture, through art, dance and singing, was an authentic, emotional and unforgettable moment. Thank you for this wonderful experience!
We did this experience together as a family including our 7 year old grand daughter. We were in Croatia to spend time looking into the family history of my father who was born in Yugoslavia and what is now Croatia. We were very keen to show our grand daughter some of the culture and this was the perfect way to do it! We all loved the combination of story telling, history, dance and workshop painting activities! Our hosts were so very warm and welcoming, thoroughly knew their subject and could not have been more accommodating and hospitable! Thank you so much! We would thoroughly recommend this experience!
This is a not to be missed cultural experience. Anna and Ivan were spectacular hosts and guides into the culture of Croatia. We learned so much from this hands on opportunity. Their passion for sharing Croatia and getting to laugh, dance and really experience was a highlight of our trip through Zagreb. Wonderful opportunity
A very nice expérience to close our holiday! It was very nice to try some typical danse. Thank you very much for welcoming us and for the pleasant moment.
I had a wonderful experience with Hearts of Zagreb. The workshop and show were beautiful. It was an authentic Croatian experience you won’t find anywhere else.
Me and my friends had a best evening with this group. Beautiful and talented people!!! We watched beautiful show with traditional Croatian dances and songs, learned few traditional dances and played some traditional games. Huge bonus for them, they have hand made souvenirs. I took one so it can remind me of this amazing experience.
Thank you for your kind words! We’re thrilled to hear that you and your friends had such a wonderful evening with us. Sharing Croatia’s rich traditions through dance, music, and games is our passion, and it’s fantastic to know you enjoyed every moment. We’re also delighted that you took home a handmade souvenir—what a great way to keep the memories alive! We truly appreciate your support and hope to welcome you back for another unforgettable experience in the future. Wishing you all the best, Ivan Manager, Hearts of Zagreb
