Working alongside a skilled craftsman, you will create one pair of chopsticks using traditional techniques. The craftsman makes one chopstick while you craft the other, resulting in a meaningful pair completed together. The process is easy to follow, with gentle guidance provided throughout, making it suitable even for beginners. If time permits, you may also have the rare opportunity to try playing the shamisen. Your finished chopsticks are practical, one-of-a-kind, and filled with warmth—serving as a special souvenir that reflects both Japanese craftsmanship and your personal experience.

It was an amazing and fun and authentic experience! We were given many materials to chose from and make our chopsticks with the master craftsman who was very nice and helpful. he was so nice and genuine! Our guide Hina was also so nice and fun to talk to, and she was very helpful and did a great job in helping us translate! highly recommend!
