Our guide Chloe was very friendly and provided lots of information about the prison. A great tour and activity to do whilst visiting Cork.
Well worth a visit. It was bigger than I thought it would be and took us about 2 hours to visit. Some sad stories along the way. The auto guide is very informative.
Fantastic experience. Went on the guided tour run by the museum with Chloe. She was an engaging and informative guide. The museum gives a fantastic insight into the history surrounding the gaol. All our family greatly enjoyed the experience. Would highly recommend.
Having chosen the guided tour we were not disappointed “Rowen” our guide was brilliant and imparted a lot of information on our walk round. Rowen was very informative, she kept us amused recounting stories as we went along. The building is in good nick pardon the pun, the wax figures very realistic, the tour is reasonably priced, well worth taking.
I don’t normally write reviews but this tour of the gaol was exceptional! Lara was great ! ..she was very informative and made the 45 minute experience interesting in her friendly and humorous way :-)
Paper guide in French, well-made, clear and accessible explanations to realize what prisoner life was like.
This is well worth a visit. Our guide Ciara was outstanding with a wealth of information during our walk around this 19th century impressing stone building.
The gaol was a great experience to learn more about history and see how these places were run. Craig was a brilliant guide and very engaging. Would definitely recommend a visit.
Great way to kill some time and learn about the history of Cork City Gaol. Highly recommend doing the audio tour. That way you can explore and hear everything without having to stop and read about it.
Enjoyed tour. Our guide was Milissa very Knowledgeable of history and pleasant. Allowed time to observe sites and answered questions. Fee in was reasonable. After tour you could walk around site at your own time.
