Copenhagen Guided Boat Tour Through Beautiful Canals

Next, we pass the Copenhagen Opera House, one of the most modern opera houses in the world. Located directly on the waterfront, it is known for its striking contemporary design and impressive scale.

The next stop is the Gunboat Sheds at Holmen. Built to shelter Denmark’s gunboats after the loss of its fleet in 1807, these historic wooden buildings recall Copenhagen’s naval past. Today, many are used by creative businesses.

The next stop is the Royal Pavilions at Nordre Toldbod. These small waterfront buildings have long welcomed members of the Danish royal family as they arrive or depart by sea. Look for the crowns on their roofs—a reminder of Copenhagen’s royal and maritime traditions.
