For example, "Memoide Yokocho" and "Golden Gai. But to be honest, most Japanese locals have never been there. Most of the people there are foreign tourists, and Japanese people do not go there. In other words, it is no exaggeration to say that these are places for foreign tourists. Can we say that we "experienced Japanese culture" by going there? We do not think so. We take you to izakaya (Japanese style pubs) where "locals" always go. It is not a special place, but if you have Japanese friends, they will say, "What? You went there!" they will be surprised in a good way. We have begun to take action in order to show you the "real Japanese culture". Since we have just started our business, we offer our services at a lower price than usual.

Itinerary
We will first stroll around "Memories Yokocho" near the meeting place. Although "Omoide Yokocho" is popular among tourists, I have never been there as I grew up in Tokyo. It is famous as a sightseeing spot. There are many stores in "Omoide Yokocho", but we will only stroll around. There are many menus in English and it is easy to enter, so please try it another time!
Passing by omoide Yokocho, we will continue to the plaza in front of Seibu Shinjuku Station. Here, you can enjoy a great view of the Shinjuku cityscape. This is often used as a meeting place. The signs for pachinko (Japanese pinball) and electronics stores are among the largest and most powerful in Japan. We will take pictures with the townscape in the background.
Next, enter Gojira Road, the main street of Kabukicho. Godzilla Road is so called because Godzilla is above the movie theaters. Enter this road and Kabukicho begins.
First, enter the first izakaya in Kabukicho. In this izakaya, enjoy mainly food and sake. In the first izakaya, Japanese people enjoy the food and moderate alcohol consumption. Enjoy yakitori, sashimi, and a variety of other dishes. *The cost of the meal is not included in the tour price, so you are free to adjust the quantity*.
Then enter a bar in Kabukicho. At the bar, enjoy mainly alcohol. We Japanese will enjoy mainly drinks with moderate meals at the second one. Please enjoy the atmosphere of the bar and communication over delicious Japanese sake. You may have fun communicating with others by practicing your Japanese language skills! Rely on your guide and enjoy conversation with various people! *The cost of the meal is not included in the tour price, so you are free to adjust the quantity*. *The bar may be changed to an izakaya (Japanese-style pub) depending on the availability of the bar. The tour ends back at the meeting point, UNIQLO. At the end of the tour, everyone will take a picture together to make it a memorable experience!

I've been visiting the restaurant for 25 years and always loved it. Three pieces of meat for a meat dish are not very okay for me. It's a shame the quality has gone down so badly. U. Scherzer
It was a really fun experience and I would totally do it again! We had really good food and in my many visits to Japan, this is one of the more interesting and repeating worthy experiences.

Was an amazing tour with Miria Motto. Went to one Japanese bar and had a fantastic traditional meal, then on to a western style bar for some more great drinks and tried some japanese gin.
The tour guide was very kind and helped us order the local dishes. She did a great job navigating and explaining each location.

My third time in Shinjuku, and I regret not joining this tour before! It allowed me to experience Japan in ways I could never have found on my own. The fact that food and drink weren't included in the tour price actually turned out to be a plus, as I could adjust the amount I ate to my liking!
This is my first trip to Japan. I am glad that I signed up for this tour. Maiko was a great guide and company. She was friendly, passionate, and very knowledgeable. Do not miss this opportunity to stroll through the busy streets of Shinjuku and eat/drink at hidden gems with Maiko. We went way past the specified time as we were having so much fun. One of the best evenings!
Maiko was a great guide. She was easy to find at the designated spot. There were only two of us that night and she still made it a wonderful experience. We went to two places and both had a lack of foreigners which was what I was hoping for. I wanted to visit places that only locals would know about and that's exactly where she took us. In addition to some Tokyo history lessons, she also gave us some tips on what to do and what to avoid. A great experience for sure and I would recommend to anybody. Also for reference, her name is pronounced similar to Michael in English. Like Maiko Jordan!
Very fun guide! She showed us great spots locals frequent and we had an excellent time experiencing the nightlife culture in Shinjuku.
