Colourful Uzbekistan

I visited Tashkent, Khiva, Bukhara, and Samarkand in August 2026 in the company of two friends, and I could not have wished for a better guide than Nodir Ostanov of Doca Tours; five stars are not even enough to rate him. From the very first day, he proved to be an impeccable professional: very punctual, organized, and a deep connoisseur of the culture, religious currents, and history of the country. He knew how to manage us with great skill, making the visit fluid, interesting, and rich in fascinating anecdotes that are not found in normal tourist guidebooks. Always available, attentive to every need, full of valuable advice even for lunch and dinner locations. His kindness and empathy really made the difference, turning the trip into a beautiful memory. If you want to live an authentic experience with attention to the smallest details, entrust yourself to him.

We had a wonderful, 12-day trip through Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, which wouldn't have been possible without Oybek and Doca Tours. Uzbekistan is an incredibly beautiful country. There is so much to discover and experience. Having a knowledgeable, dedicated tour guide at your side is worth gold. We couldn't have got a better one than Oybek.

I booked a private tour with Doca Tours and had a positive experience. The sightseeing program included many beautiful and interesting locations, making the trip enjoyable and engaging. The local guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. I particularly appreciated the tours led by Maghferat in Khiva and Delmurat in Tashkent. The drivers were flexible, especially Umid from Samarkand, who was helpful and punctual. The owner/manager, Oybek, and his team were always available to support and answer questions. My 10-day tour through Samarkand, Tashkent, Urgench, Khiva, Bukhara, and back to Samarkand was a great experience: the country's history, culture, and people's manner.
