This tour will start with the guide taking you into the Roman Forum, We start where the story once begun. The Forum was a bustling hub of activity from hosting public speeches, to the public criminal trials, and of course the gladiatorial games. As time went on it became a symbol of the power and grandeur of the Roman Empire. Today, the ruins of the Forum are a major breath-taking archaeological site and a popular tourist attraction in Rome and also a well visit park among the locals.
This is a guided tour that will enter not only the colosseum but also the restricted areas of the Colosseum underground and the Arena stage. The restricted areas of the Colosseum underground is where the animals were kept and lifted up by slaves to the stage to astonish the audience. After the underground's our visit follows onto the Arena stage. Our tour will end in this magnificent monument to then give you the opportunity to freely wonder around the ordinary areas.

This is the tour. Starts downstairs underneath the floor to see how things worked, then up to the floor, then up to the top. Tour guide Renata was extremely informative and tireless in very hot weather.

Our family (six people) had a private tour of the Colosseum Underground, Roman Forum and the Palatine hill palace area. This was the highlight of our Italy trip by far. Renata was our tour guide. We, and others in our party, thought that the Colosseum Underground tour was going to be at the time we booked. However, we had a tour of the Roman Forums for almost 2 hours before the underground tour. Then, we only had 40 minutes to experience the tour and were completely rushed by the Colosseum staff. Sabrina, our tour guide, was phenomenal and very knowledgeable on the roman history

Ranata was patient and great tour guide. She knew how to convey the architecure and history of the colosseum and forum. She ensured we covers everything with closer to 3.5 hours !
This by far was the best thing we did in Rome. Our tour guide renata was amazing and provided us with so much history. She took her time to answer my 1000 questions and stopped endlessly so we can capture all of our amazing photos recapping the day. Highly recommend!
What an amazing tour we had with renata of the colosseum in rome, she was everything you could ask for in a guide, she literally new everything and was very passionate about what she does, and she was so friendly and welcoming, me and my family can't thank you enough for this wonderful exsperience. 😊
We really enjoyed this tour. Renata is so knowledgeable and enthusiastic! We took the tour with our 3 children (10,8 and 1) and the older children were enthralled. The temperature in Rome has been very high but this did not detract from the tour and our enjoyment of it. Would highly recommend.
