The Colosseum is an elliptical amphitheatre in the centre of the city of Rome, Italy, just east of the Roman Forum. It is the largest ancient amphitheatre ever built, and is still the largest standing amphitheatre in the world, despite its age.
The Forum was the centre of day-to-day life in Rome: the site of triumphal processions and elections; the venue for public speeches, criminal trials and gladiatorial matches and the nucleus of commercial affairs.
The Palatine Hill, which relative to the seven hills of Rome is the centremost, is one of the most ancient parts of the city; it has been called "the first nucleus of the Roman Empire".

- Go straight to the entrance, but everyone must still go through the security check line, which may have a short wait on busy days.
- Kids under 18 enter for free, but we still need their names when you book.
- We’ll provide free child tickets for them.
- A digital audio guide (online, app, or MP3) will be sent.
- You’ll need to listen on your own phone with headphones.
- Your ticket includes one entry to the Colosseum and one entry to the Roman Forum & Palatine Hill.
- Bring your ticket with you — either printed or on your phone
- You must be at least 18 years old to book, and children must come with an adult.
- You can visit Roman Forum and Palatine Hill before or after the Colosseum
- The tour duration is 3 hours. The organizer reserves the right to switch up which comes first: Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, or the Colosseum, depending on the time slot.
- Once the tour date has passed, refunds are not available.

guide seemed bored lost 1 person before entering and lost a family of 4 inside he would speed ahead and then chastise us for losing him or he would be so slow we couldn't see him and go ahead and we would get chastised again

Excellent day out, so much to experience and take in for the whole family. As long as you’re organised/bring ID/arrive 15 minutes before your time slot the experience runs smoothly. Our children said this is the most memorable experience of our holiday to Italy.

It was terrible we didn’t get the tickets it was difficult and confusing. We were told t we’d receive them by email. But email we received contained a barcode for something called a validation code (whatever that is) which stated these are not your tickets. It further stated that to see below for instructions to get the tickets, but there were none. When we bought the tickets online they were very quick to take money from us and when we phoned the help line nobody was picking up. When complained by mail that we couldn’t get the tickets they completely ignored us. Terrible communication and appalling service.

I paid for audio guides and the Colliseum was out of them. Viator has not given me a refund for what I paid!
Great & nice service, clear instructions for how tickets and such work. We came a little late (about 10 min) to our time to pick up the tickets because of the hassle with buses and stuff, but they solved it without making any thing of it! Recommend!
