Great experience
Our guide was well versed on the history of the colosseum and the surrounding area. He knew all the best locations to take pictures from.
He walked at a good pace for the group and was very friendly the entire time.
He offered tips for where to go after the tour for us and our children which was much appreciated.

Surprise Outcome
The trip to the colosseum turned out to be excellent despite setbacks. Turned out it was a marathon the morning and also a holiday. Our tour guide Andrea had actually been booked by viator but had to cancel. She however had contacted us the day before explaining the situation and still met us on the day and took us through the process of getting tickets. She also highlighted the must sees and again met us when it was time to go in to the colosseum. For a first time visitor I truly appreciated what she did on a day she was to be off.
The site was impressive along with the Palatine Hill. Even without a fully guided tour. Would not hesitate though to recommend our guide Andrea ,her kindness was exemplary. Thank you Rome4U
