Coco Bongo Cancun Gold Member VIP Night Out by After Dark

VIP experience left a little to be desired… long line and most seats are front row or elevated so can see everything from most any seat. The show was fantastic and I recommend it to everyone. Music and performers were top notch….

Horrible experience, line to enter delayed, despite having VIP tickets, drinks of terrible quality, infamous service.. dreadful and unprofessional show, old music of very poor quality

After reading the reviews, we had high expectations. As frequent travelers to Las Vegas who have enjoyed many shows over the years, we're happy to say this experience did not disappoint. From the moment we walked through the front doors, the atmosphere was fun and welcoming, complete with a complimentary drink upon arrival. The only area that could use some improvement was the entry process. It was a little difficult to determine which line we needed to join and when or where we would be entering the venue. A few additional instructions or clearer signage would have been helpful. We were seated in the upper level, which provided an excellent view of the main stage. However, I did feel like we missed some of the performances happening on the floor level. Even so, the music, scenery, and overall production offered a great variety and kept us thoroughly entertained throughout the evening. The show was so engaging that we completely lost track of time. Our waiter was attentive and made sure we were well taken care of the entire night. We never found ourselves needing anything. The venue's walkways are fairly dark, but the staff did an excellent job of assisting guests and ensuring everyone could safely navigate their way to and from the restrooms without stumbling. Overall, it was a very enjoyable evening and a memorable experience. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and entertaining night out.

Should be called Coco Bonkers. This is not cheap but honestly my wife and I along with 2 daughters and oartners had the best 5 hours entertainment we have ever had. We paid for upstairs seating and drinks package. The entertainment was none stop as was the supply of Jim Beam from the barman. Finished our fantastic holiday off with a bongo bang!!

This place was THE BEST! Super fun, sexy people, great music, & energy galore. This is a MUST DO when in Playa del Carmen

We really enjoyed the show from start to finish. We paid for the VIP package and it was definitely worth it, as we had fantastic seats with a great view of the performance. The only downside was the bar service and the drinks. The server was quite slow at the beginning, and the alcoholic drinks seemed very weak. Between my friends and me, we had quite a few drinks throughout the evening, yet none of us felt the effects you would normally expect. It did make us wonder whether the drinks were being watered down. Overall, it was a brilliant night with an amazing show, and we would definitely recommend it. Improving the drinks and service would make the experience even better.

We purchased the VIP Gold package and had an enjoyable night overall, although the check-in and seating process could have been better organized. There was no one available to direct us where to sit, which was confusing since the package was advertised as including a table with a dedicated server. We ultimately ended up sitting on bar stools. Our server was attentive and friendly, but he was covering a large area, so it did not feel as though we had a server dedicated specifically to our group. Sliders were served to part of our group, but we did not receive anything else. That said, the shows were very entertaining, and the production was excellent. The young adults in our group spent most of the night dancing, so the lack of a table did not bother them much. Overall, it was definitely an experience and a fun night, but for money, check-in, seating, and service could use a little more organization.

Purchased a gold ticket and still had a long wait in line. Once inside, there were no seats. Waiter had to find a chair. The food was not good. Shows were great but took too long between them. If I wanted to see people exposing themselves, I would have went to a strip club. Disappointing.

My honest review of Coco Bongo: We went on a Friday night and arrived at our allocated entry time. Unfortunately, we ended up queuing for over an hour to get in and were constantly approached by people offering paid queue-jump options. Considering our tickets already cost over $100 each (including tax), this was frustrating. Once inside, the shows themselves were incredible and definitely the highlight of the night. There were quite a few filler segments between performances, but that was understandable. The biggest downside was how overcrowded the venue felt. It was extremely hot due to the number of people they were trying to fit inside. Even at half the capacity, the atmosphere would still have been fantastic. We were repeatedly told to keep squeezing further into the crowd, and whenever we managed to find a spot with a little space, security would shine flashing lights at us and tell us to move—presumably to make room for VIP guests. This made the experience feel quite uncomfortable. The open bar was a positive, and the bartender quickly remembered our usual order. The drinks did seem a little watered down, but that wasn’t a major issue. Overall, would I go again? Probably not, especially considering the price. Unless I could get an upgrade to a seated VIP or balcony section, I don’t think the experience offered good value for money.

Loved it and the vip package was worth it. No hassle would book again
