Glide on crystal clear kayaks through the jungle and emerald green sea for a unique and magical experience. With the chance to spot sloths, this adventure is perfect for nature enthusiasts. Depending on the weather and ocean conditions, you have two options for the second part of the tour. From August to mid-November, kayak in the ocean for an exhilarating experience. With a clear bottom, you'll witness the underwater world and its treasure, including the stunning reef and its vibrant fish. Alternatively, if the ocean doesn't have safe conditions for kayaking you’ll take a magical trail to a scenic viewpoint and cave, where you'll learn about the area's history, culture, plants, and wildlife. We had a wonderful morning with our very kind guide, Steve. Steve pointed out sloths, monkeys, turtles, basilisks, iguanas and birds! And more! We had delicious fresh coconut water at a break. We had a great time. Highly recommended! Ask for Steve; he was great!
We had an excellent time! The clear bottom kayaks didnt add much to the experience and took a little bit to get comfortable. We weren't able to do the whole tour because of the weather so maybe other parts of the tour on clearer days would have made the clear kayaks cool. We loved the tour though. Esteban dud a great job and showed us lots of insects lizards birds and plant life. We also saw a few sloths and lots of monkeys. The hike was a lot of fun where we saw a few more sloths and learned about some history of punta uva and some more about plant life. We went with a 10 month old and a 3 year old. Both fussed a little bit during the kayak tour but eventually fell asleep. They both loved the hiking part!

It was a wonderful experience..we got lucky because we were the only party and our tiur guide Elmer took good care of us..He showed us different animals and birds like sloth, red head wood picker, howler monkeys, bats, turtles, Kingfisher... Then we hiked to a mirador which also fun...

I had a great experience with our guide, Jungle! This was my groups first time kayaking and it was enjoyable even with all of the bloopers. I would say we are now somewhat pros at this and ready to conquer it again. Jungle is knowledgeable and we had a great time seeing the animals and leaning about the area.

The tour was very pleasant and relaxing, out guide, Daniel, was very friendly and knowledgeable. My companion is from Costa Rica, and she said she learned things she didn’t know before. I’m learning Spanish still, so I opted for the Spanish tour for more immersion. Daniel was great with explaining some things in English as needed. (He’s fluent in English). The clear kayak was cool, didn’t help us see anything underwater, but it did make me feel more connected with the environment.

Steven our guide was quietly spoken so with a small group, at 9am before the river got busy, this was a lovely tranquil experience. Saw plenty turtles, lizards, iguanas, spider Monkeys and bats. The clear bottom canoe is a bit misleading though as the river is too brackish to see anything. I have already recommended this trip to others.

What fun this was, would definitely recommend it if you want to do it somewhere in Costa rica then I would do it here. We had booked a private tour and our guide was so enthusiastic and we also floated around longer than he was supposed to. He knew how to spot the animals and tell us all about them.
