Great tour - showed lot of places plus the addiiton of boat tour was great. They showed lot of landmarks and places around Chicago.
Great guides, comfortable, and educational! The only issue was where the listing says the boat drops you off wasn’t accurate. So call ahead to verify. Otherwise it was a great way to spend an afternoon.
The booking said we would get a 2-4 hour tour of this great city of Chicago and we got less then 1 1/2 hours. It said we would be stopping at 3 places and we only stopped at two. The guide used a lot of swear words and not many happy things to say about Chicago…only gloom and doom. I will be thinking twice if i ever book through trip advisor again.
Invaluable experience and well worth the time and money. Avery on the coach and Kevin on the boat were superb in knowledge and delivery.
The Chicago City tour coupled with the Architecture River Boat tour were great back to back tours. We had a short stay in Chicago but both these tours gave a brief overview of the city, its history, architecture richness, tidbits a stories and city suggestions on the bus portion by Aron were very helpful. We saw areas we would have never seen on our own or riding around town on an Uber. We had bad weather (rain) on the river tour and we were actually surprised the boat tour was a go rain or shine . Very wet onboard, very little coverage on the boat- even though they offered us a free plastic tarp to wear for the tour, it was quite wet, and a bit chilly (for July!) bring your own umbrella and rain gear if you go on a rainy day. Hard to see the buildings our guide was showing us, but not her fault. I’d go again, but only if good weather is guaranteed.
Rick was an absolutely phenomenal guide! He was knowledgeable, friendly and FUNNY! This is a great whistlestop tour of the city and I am glad I booked it last minute!
Rick was an amazing tour guide. He was funny and very informative. He covered lots of history and showed us much of Chicago in a small time.
The bus part of the trip was great. Driver Avery amazing and funny too great day out the boat tour guide was gods but when I asked where a building was she was like I never heard of that and snubbed me . But sure did want a tip
Alan was great during the city tour. He knew all kinds of information and quirky things about Chicago. On the Architecture Boat Tour, Kevin kept us laughing and all sorts of knowledge about buildings and Chicago lore.
Avery was a fantastic tour guide on the city tour; Kevin was most entertaining on the Architectural River cruise.
