Good parts: - Service was excellent! David, our server, was very patient with my big party. Gabriella, the hostess, noticed my steak was too raw and offered to take it back to the chef for a recook without me asking. - The views were great. The boat quite literally takes you from one end of the river to the other in 2.5 hrs so we got to see a lot of Chicago. - I liked that the narrator gave some movie fun facts about some of the buildings we passed by. - Meet-up spot was pretty easy to find (lots of stairs though if you have someone who has trouble walking). - AIR CONDITIONING - They let us go out on the observation deck to take pics. Areas that need improvement: - Food was very mediocre. When I cut through my steak, it was quite raw. Same for a family member of mine. - Long wait for food. Depending on where you sit on the boat, you may not get your main dish before another table finishes their dessert. Half of the passengers finished their entire 3-course meal before I even got my dish. Overall, the boat experience and sights themselves were wonderful. Staff were very nice. I just wish the food was better considering how much we paid for the whole thing. 8/10 experience!!
It's a great cruise with awesome staff, great city tour information, amazing food, service, music and drinks .
Well worth it. Would definitely do the city cruise again.
took a long time to get our food
Took my wife on this tour for her birthday and our first day in Chicago. The food was great. The tour was very informative if Chicago Rivers’s history.
We had reserved and purchased tickets in advance through Viator. However, on the day of the booking, my family and I were informed that our reservations were not valid due to booking through a third party, despite possessing a booking confirmation number. After a 45-minute discussion, we were ultimately unable to board and participate in the experience.
It was an amazing experience with my best friend for her birthday. The food & view of the Chicago riverside was incredible. Leslie, our server was fantastic was the cornerstone of our experience. She gave us great options and recommendations for our menu choices & some ideas where to take photos on the ship. We’d love to go again sometime!
Very nice and relaxing, with a beautiful view of the city’s river. Great brunch as well. Leslie was our server and she was very attentive and nice.
Viator is a third party company who will take your money give you update after update for for reservation not to be valid because of greed they don’t update to actual company that a reservation is paid also will give you the run around about your refund . They have to investigate what happen once you ask for a refund .
The whole experience was great!!! Staff was super friendly and helpful, food was good, the sightseeing was really good all from a very comfortable atmosphere.
