I wanted to love this tour, but unfortunately it did not live up to my expectations. When I first moved here I heard stories about how Cheesman Park is haunted and I have been wanting to do a Ghost Tour. This tour was not what I was expecting. I think our guide was very knowledgeable however he is a low talker and mumbles so it was hard to understand him. He was also monotone and talked a lot about his ex-wife. I would have enjoyed it more if he seemed excited about the subject matter or at the very least was a little more animated.
I am sorry it wasnt the experience that you hoped for and thank you for the review. I think that telling you what me ex wifes favorite and not favorite parts of the park are, her experiences that she had which led to the creation of the tour are not too much. I didn't go into anything other than what is her favorite part and why, which was one sentence, and her least favorite part and why as well as her personal experience in that section. I add those so you know they are personal experiences from someone I know and it's not some made up story. Sorry if you cant handle hearing about someones ex a 2 times, you don't take umbrage with me talking about the othert women that I talk about that had experiences there, one that I also mention 2 times in 2 places. This is the first time anyone has said I was not "animated enough" I am not exactly how much more animated I can be in the dark. I've been on plenty of ghost tours and unless you expect me to levitate, there's not much more I can do. We are all adults here, if you felt I needed to speak louder you could have simply asked, "Would you mind speaking up?", its literally dead quiet there, the need to yell at you escapes me. You also could have asked for a refund or told me it wasn't the experience you hoped for and I would have been more than happy to offer you one.
It was an amazing experience our tour guide was knowledgeable and waited for us as we were 10 mins late arriving to the meet up spot.
I really enjoyed my Cheesman Park ghost tour! It was spooky and spine-tingling in the best way while also being informative and fascinating. The walk through the park was lovely, and the stories made the history come alive. My guide was knowledgeable, funny, and very personable, making the experience both entertaining and engaging. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun and memorable evening!
My sons and I have a spooky good time! This was our first ghost tour and we will definitely be attending more! The tour was entertaining and well paced. My 12 year old said how fun it was at least 5 times! Highly recommend!
Very interesting tour ~ lots of history, as well as, ghost stories. I’ve lived in Colorado for over 50 years and I learned things on this tour that I never knew. I highly recommend Will of Denver Local Tours as your guide.
This was truly a phenomenal, unique, and fun experience. Our tour guide was personable, knowledgeable, and delivered so much interesting information in the best way! The pace of the tour was perfect. I will absolutely be going again and I really appreciate how much care our tour guide took to make it a great time! You're guaranteed to be amazed by what you will learn!
It was interesting to hear about the different sections of the park. Guide was nice but a little hard to understand. He speaks very fast…i think he is excited to tell us all the stories!
Although we are natives and know a lot about the history of Cheeseman Park, my daughter and I still found this tour very insightful and interesting. Will was a great tour guide and gave a lot of history and information about the park and surrounding homes. There were very noticeable cold and warm spots in the park which was really wild! We both had a great time and agreed that it was fun touring our home city!
Informative and entertaining. Beautiful night for a walk. Really enjoyable. Would still be a fun tour year round, not just for Halloween.
