My adult son and I had a wonderful trip to the Charyn Canyon arranged by Vladguides in Almaty. +7 747 737 3748 We also visited the other nearbyvcanyons and Lake Kaindy and Kolsai Lake. The overnight tour was in English in a modern comfortable air conditioned SUV and they stopped whenever we wished en route to and from Almaty. The two lakes are wonderful and walking down the Charyn Canyon was fantastic. We stayed overnight near Lake Kaindy and they sent us a video of the accommodation in advance when we were deciding to make the booking. Their organisation was excellent and very professional. There were recommended to us by the concierge at our hotel in Almaty. They do not offer the possibility of staying in a Yurt. The guide and his adult son, who speaks excellent English, were great fun and we had a wonderful 30-hour tour during which we were looking also able to learn a lot about Kazakhstan and ask any questions we wanted regarding Kazakhstan, its politics, culture and history etc. We were really well taken care of. I am happy to recommend Vladguide to visit these natural wonders.

Charyin Canyon
Thanks to Moon our tour guide and Kairat our driver who brought us to Charyin Canyon. From the start of the day everything went smoothly. The drive to the canyon was comfortable and pleasant. A nice clean and spacious car. Moon was bright and friendly and made the trip go by quickly. The Canyon itself was spectacular and the standout thing to see in the Almaty region. Again Moon was great with the stories and information about the region. She had a drone with her and she did a few videos of us which was a real surprise. When we saw these videos afterwards they were excellent. We had a lovely lunch in a local restaurant near the canyon again Moon was so engaging. Our journey back to Almaty was perfect with no delays. Thanks to Moon and Kairat for facilitating this wonderful experience. J &T

Echoes Through Charyn Canyon
We had a wonderful time visiting Charyn Canyon in Kazakhstan. The scenery was breathtaking, and the canyon left us speechless. Thanks to our guide, Moon, who was friendly and made the trip memorable for us. Her stories made the journey even more enjoyable! The local food was excellent, especially the lagman and duck dish. We were also impressed by the driver’s skill. Despite the long drive from Almaty, the ride was smooth and comfortable. Beautiful
The Charyn Canyon is spectacular and a true natural wonder. It is fairly easy to walk down to the river. You then get a truck back to the bottom of the staircase to climb out of the canyon . Bit of a wait time when busy. Price was high but it was a long trip. We had a great driver and an interesting young man as our guide.

The Charyn Canyon is...
The Charyn Canyon is gorgeous and a true natural wonder. Fairly easy walk down to river and caught a truck back to bottom of staircase out of canyon. The meal was also delicious. Price was high, but it is a long trip and we had a great driver and interesting young man.
