Description
History, Haunts, & Hahas! is a small, local, mom-owned business specializing in Ghost Forensics, Ethical Storytelling, Comic Relief, and the Human Behind the Haunting. Drunk History & Haunt Jaunt combines a haunted history walk, ghost tour, and pub crawl with three designated bar stops and opportunities to independently purchase alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages. Rather than repeating recycled ghost stories, we explore the real history, folklore, architecture, and hidden clues behind Charleston's legends and reported hauntings. Guests learn how to distinguish documented history from folklore, evaluate paranormal claims, and recognize common misidentifications such as pareidolia and photographic artifacts. Small groups and adaptable conversations encourage curiosity and critical thinking. Limited EMF readers may be available. Stories are shared from public spaces outside landmarks and historic sites; admission is not included. Ghost activity can never be guaranteed.

Itinerary
Tours meet at 160 Church Street on the side of Tommy Condon's Irish Pub closest to the patio. This creates a predictable start & finish spot. The tour kicks off from there.
Atmospheric alleyway stop associated with Charleston folklore, duels, violence, ghost stories, and reported paranormal experiences.
Exterior storytelling stop featuring pirate history, Revolutionary War imprisonment, and Charleston paranormal legends. only; no building entry included.
Haunted pub crawl stop tucked within one of Charleston’s oldest alleyways. Guests 21+ presenting valid ID or passport may purchase beverages while continuing the storytelling experience featuring ghost lore, hidden history, humor, and paranormal discussion throughout the tour. Beverages must be finished inside of the bar as it is illegal to have alcohol out on Charleston streets.
Exterior storytelling stop discussing Charleston government history, law, disasters, public life, folklore, and ghost stories connected to the city’s historic civic district.
Exterior storytelling stop discussing Charleston religious history, wartime history, preservation, local legends, graveyard lore, and reported paranormal experiences connected to the surrounding historic district. Tours do not enter church or graveyard.

Historic stop discussing fires, rebuilding efforts, graveyard stories, and Charleston hauntings. Stories are told from outside of the gate, and no tours are permitted entry.
Final pub crawl stop featuring lively atmosphere, Charleston history, ghost lore, humor, and ongoing storytelling throughout the experience. Guests 21+ presenting valid ID or passport will have the opportunity to purchase beverages.

Best Ghost Tour in Charleston!
History, Haunts, and Hahas has been my favorite haunted tour I've ever done! The owner has an incredible energy and tailors the tour to your group. She's very good at picking up on the needs and interests of all members of the group and making recommendations to keep spirits high (pun intended!). The latest tour we did, she booked us reservations at the speakeasies we went to so the table was ready when we arrived to order our drinks and start the stories. You get to hear the real history behind the tall tales, which is the best of both worlds to me. Everyone I've brought on a History, Haunts, and Hahas tour has had a blast! The owner makes the experience whatever you want it to be, which you'd be hard pressed to find from any other tour company.

It was amazing!!!! Vanna did an awesome job of picking the best bars to go to and knew the history of each one and had done research on them to know more about them!! It was so much fun; Vanna makes it more fun because she is so nice and funny

Vanna was a very educated tour guide! She made sure to include the facts along with acknowledging possible stories that may be incorrect. She was a very good story teller and explained the idea of ghosts and spirits through both science and suspicion. I had a great time exploring and learning along this tour!

Suicide, accident or murder?
The haunted pub crawl with History Haunts & Hahas was phenomenal! Vannah took us to multiple pubs in Charleston and shared factual stories in the most delightfully funny way! Be sure to ask Vannah what really happened to Helen, or is Helen even her real name! The tour is inexpensive for the value and entertainment Vannah provides. We had such a good time that we booked a different tour with her a few days after this one!
