This was a great way to learn about the Gluten Free food scene in Rome. Maurizio, our guide, was informative, funny and helpful, the perfect companion for a tour of Rome’s eateries. If you are a coeliac coming to Rome, book this tour. We both thoroughly enjoyed it and devoured some great food.
Thank you so much for your lovely review! We're delighted you enjoyed discovering Rome's gluten-free side with Maurizio. He’ll be very happy to hear your kind words. It means a lot to know you felt confident exploring the city’s food options while enjoying some of our favorite local specialties. We hope to welcome you back to Rome again soon!
This was the best GF food tour with a walking history tour thrown in on the side! Alessia was so friendly and engaging on what ended up being a private tour for my friend and I! She told us what to look for when choosing GF places to eat and how to know they were safe. She made sure we each were enjoying our food along the way! If you don’t know which pizza to go with on the tour- go with the sausage and broccoli- sounds odd, but it was sooooo good!!
Thank you so much for your lovely review! It was such a pleasure spending time with you both and sharing great gluten-free spots and local stories along the way. I’m so happy you enjoyed the experience (and that pizza choice was a winner!). Hope to see you again for more delicious discoveries!
Anastasia was absolutely amazing. She was personable and very knowledgeable. One of the best tours I have ever taken. Highly recommend!

I bought this gluten free food tour as a gift for my husband. Our tour was with Sara, who was great. Very knowledgeable. The food we ate was so good that we have been back to several restaurants since our tour. I would definitely recommend.
Thank you so much for choosing our gluten free food tour as a gift — we’re really glad to hear you and your husband had a great experience with Sara. It’s wonderful to know you enjoyed the gluten free restaurants and have already gone back to some of them. We truly appreciate your recommendation and are happy we could provide a delicious and safe experience for celiac travelers and anyone living a gluten free lifestyle. Hope to see you again on another gluten free tour soon!
I got to try a lot of gluten free treats, both savory and sweet. My favorite was the pizza by the slice wrapped up for walking! The guide was great, with just the right amount of historical context in between stops. All of the food places were either dedicated gluten free or certified safe by the Italian Celiac Association. I was the only one on this tour (traveling alone in low season) and I really appreciated that they didn’t cancel on me for low enrollment. Overall I left full and happy!
Thank you so much for sharing this — it truly means a lot to us! We’re so happy you enjoyed tasting such a great variety of gluten-free food. It’s wonderful to hear that the mix of history and stops felt just right, and we’re especially glad you joined us as a solo traveler. We would never want someone to miss out on a great gluten-free food experience in Italy just because it’s low season. So happy you left feeling full and happy — that’s exactly what we hope for every guest. We’d love to welcome you back anytime!
Our deepest gratitude to Alessia and to our guide Sara for offering such a wonderful tour! It was so well organised, with clear instructions on how to find our guide. And luckily for us, we were the only people on the tour on this rainy Roman day, so we had Sara all to ourselves! We ate foods we had never tried before, and I was overjoyed to see my Coeliac son sampling everything offered. He can be quite unsure about trying new things (especially in restaurants), but not today. Sara instilled a sense of calm and of trust, and he was so enthusiastic to try the food (which was absolutely delicious, from start to finish. Sara also provided fascinating information about the sights of Rome during our walking tour, even making time to introduce us to one of her favourite churches - the jaw-droppingly beautiful Santa Maria sopra Minerva. At every point of the tour today, Sara made time to answer all our questions, about both the gluten free food we were eating, and Roman history and life in general. She is a truly lovely human being, and I’m so glad we met her. Sincerely once again, thank you. I strongly recommend this tour to anyone with a gluten intolerance or Coeliac Disease, and their families ❤️❤️
