This experience was amazing. Our guide was Roy and he was fantastic. Not only did he make the full experience fun, he was super friendly, great with the kids and Even helped pop a dislocated shoulder back in (total freak accident unrelated to the experience itself!) Would 100% recommend this activity
Highly recommended. Serious, appropriate equipment and professionalism
Both snorkel and speed boat were super fun. Came with a free massage at the beginning as well and the tequila tasting was great! Due to some construction and traffic our group was gonna be a bit late. However, when calling ahead they said we were all good and they’d wait. For the dock fee we could pay with both cash and card which was appreciated because, the description said only cash. With shared boat, both riders had the opportunity to drive as well!
EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE. We went as a family with a total of 5 boats. The explanations that Uriel gave us before starting the activity cleared up all our doubts, making the experience easier. We took a 45-minute speedboat tour there and 45 minutes back, passing through mangroves, and the stop for snorkeling was incredible. Uriel was very attentive and professional at all times, guiding us, teaching us how to swim through the reefs and ways to see them, and taking us through the areas where there were plenty of fish. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. URIEL IS AN EXCELLENT PROFESSIONAL
We had a lot of fun on the speedboat. The boat goes pretty fast and Luis our guide was also excellent. We went snorkeling in some great water and saw lots of underwater life and some of the sunken artifacts that have been placed on the ocean floor.
Roy was our guide and the just the best. Chose to share a fun personality, kept the group safe, and made sure everyone had what they needed AND had fun. Not an easy task. The boats were zippy and fun, the mangroves revealed a natural aviary, and the reef was full of variegated water flora and fauna!
We booked this on the TripAdvisor app the same morning we decided to go, and it was one of the highlights of our trip. A quick tip on getting there: the launch point was about 6km from our hotel and reception wanted to charge US$25 for a taxi. I tried the local app inDrive instead, where you pay cash, and it cost less than £5. Easy to use and by far the most cost-effective way of getting around, short of the local buses. We used it both ways. After arriving, signing the forms and paying the US$20 docking fee per person, we were handed lifejackets and a sanitised snorkel. There was a bit of waiting around because another couple turned up late, but our guide Carlos was very apologetic about it. Carlos made the trip. From the moment we met him I knew we were in for an entertaining couple of hours. He was thorough explaining how to get on and off the boat, how to use the throttle, and the hand signals he'd use so the whole convoy knew what to do. We set off through the mangroves and saw a good variety of birds, including flamingos. The only disappointment was not spotting any crocodiles. The speedboat leg out was around 30 minutes before we anchored up in water roughly 5 to 10 feet deep and spent about 45 minutes snorkelling. It's not the Red Sea, but there was plenty of fish to see along with several underwater statues, which were a nice touch. Then back in the boats for the run to the jetty. A few days earlier I'd considered hiring a jet ski for half an hour. It would have cost less, but you'd get a fraction of the time on the water. If you want some fun driving a boat mixed with snorkelling and swimming, this is the perfect trip.
Make sure you bring a bag for you stuff also make sure to stay calm while snorkeling breath out your mouth because that salt water get you
Carlos is a great guide who gave us a very entertaining and enjoyable afternoon. He is knowledgeable and try to enhance the experience by his funny style. Thanks for him to wait for us who arrived a bit late. Maybe more history about the place will be better. Overall, lovely and highly recommend it.
Everything went as planned. Very organized! The chek in was easy, the instructions very clear and the snorkeling was incredible.
