I had the luxury of a wrinkle-style green tea while lighting a bonfire in the full moon desert, and luckily I was able to meet a family of foxes and have lifelong memories. It was a luxurious course: desert drive, exploring strange rocks and fossils, stopping by an oasis (teahouse bill), desert surfing, sunset from a sand mountain, Abu Mahdu, and authentic green tea and snacks wrinkled by a campfire. 【Experience】 ・About operators We made inquiries from multiple companies, and the most instagram DM was quick to make pre-inquiries, and the accounting, whether it was carpooling or chartering, was honest and very reliable. ​・What makes this company great The wrinkled, wrinkled guide (Yousef ), who was in charge alone, was an ultra-high-spec guide with 26 years of experience and a skilled skill set. It is a wild cooking method where ingredients are directly buried in the sand and steamed, rather than over charcoal. Quick to cook and clean up, he did everything by himself at lightning speed. The juicy, tender whole chicken is completely different from what I had on the street the day before! They were all so delicious they munched silently (I even wanted to take them home in a Tupperware!), with their chunky boned beef, chopped Egyptian-style grilled eggplant salad, saffron rice and moist sweet potatoes that I couldn't help but hear the recipe. ​Miracle moment & tea time: I was lucky enough to meet a family of wild desert foxes! We also witnessed the mysterious moment when the moon rises from the horizon with the stars as it was the week of the full moon. We drank authentic green tea brewed with tea leaves while watching the full moon and the bonfire, and had a pleasant chat with the slightly shy and mischievous Mr. Joseph until midnight, which was truly soothing. ​💡 【Notice: Choosing a style that never fails】 There are two styles of wrinkle tours, and if you get this wrong, a mismatch will occur. ​①【Tuk Tuk Picnic Tour】 Low-cost but easy style around the desert entrance (within sight of the town). It is said that this company also offers options, but you won't find fox chances, ghachi desert rice (abmahdu) or true spectacular views. Budget-conscious people such as backpackers and students, just the atmosphere is OK! (※The comments that I sometimes see on social media and word of mouth, "I thought it was a BBQ, but it was a yakiniku bento" and "I had a problem with carpooling," may be due to a lack of explanation and miscommunication about the difference in style and conditions on tours of other companies. Our trip to Siwa through the Siwa Experience was the most enjoyable part of our Egypt journey. Everything was perfect, from the kind and attentive driver to the clean, newly built hotel, delicious meals, and the fun and romantic Salt Lake and Sahara tours. The tour company managed the schedule very carefully and thoughtfully over the two days, and communication in English was excellent. Swimming privately in the Salt Lake was truly an unforgettable experience. During the Sahara safari, we enjoyed thrilling dune bashing, and after sandboarding, we spent time having snacks while watching the sunset over the Sahara. The barbecue dinner in the evening was absolutely delicious, and the desert sky was filled with countless stars. It was one of the most beautiful sights I have ever seen in my life. Although the journey to and from Cairo is long, the company took full responsibility for managing the entire itinerary, which allowed us to travel back and forth with complete peace of mind. I would highly recommend the Siwa Experience tour to anyone visiting Egypt.

It was great tour l’ve ever experienced before. The salt lake was so beautiful and sahara desert tour was awesome. The tour guide at desert was soooo nice :) and historical tour at next day was also great. He explained siwa history very easily so we could understand enough.

This was a very last minute trip, I booked the day before. Mahmoud was very quick to respond and organized my 3 day/2 night adventure. He arranged my driver, Bondoq to pick me at my Airbnb in Cairo. The drive was 9 hours one way, we made a few stops for breaks. Bondoq was with me for the entire 3 days, he drove me everywhere! He taught me how to speak Arabic, became my personal photographer, was very attentive, and made sure I was happy every step of the way!! When I arrived to Siwa I checked into the brand new Deluxe Hotel. I was greeted by Mohammed, I was whisked away on a jeep and sand-board adventure in the desert. Mohammed made us a fire, tea, and took lots of epic photos for the group. The next day, Amr showed me around Siwa, he has so much knowledge to share and is an amazing guide. On my last day, we ended the trip at the incredible Salt Lake. I highly recommend this experience, the team that was assigned to me created memories for a lifetime. Special thanks to Mahmoud and Bondoq, they made me feel welcomed and took great care of me. You are missing out if you don’t book this trip, it was the Highlight of my Egypt journey!!

I booked this Siwa tour just a week before the trip, but communication was fast, helpful, and very smooth. They reminded me the day before and contacted me again a few hours before pickup. The car was clean, and despite the 9-hour drive, the driver was very safe. The overnight ride let me see unforgettable stars. The hotel was unique and so nice! Different guides joined for the salt lake and desert tour, took great photos, explained well, and found the best spots. On day two, we visited several sites and returned safely to Cairo. It’s not the cheapest option, but for comfort and safety, it’s definitely worth it.

We drove from Cairo to Siwa and back, and from the moment we arrived the journey felt completely worth it. Our driver (based in Cairo) and our guides were exceptional — always professional, kind, and genuinely proud of Siwa. Their love for the place made us feel it too. To be honest, Cairo wasn’t the right fit for us — it felt overwhelming and we struggled to connect with the atmosphere there. Without the Siwa trip, we might have left Egypt with a very different impression. Siwa, however, completely changed everything. The people were genuinely warm, not pushy, and interactions felt real and heartfelt. Their kindness made a huge difference and was one of the reasons we loved our time there so much. The scenery blew us away: shimmering salt lakes, palm groves, sweeping desert dunes — and the sunsets were unforgettable, painting the sky with incredible colours. The long drive and effort to get there only made it feel more rewarding. The roads aren’t always perfect, so having a skilled driver mattered a lot, and we felt safe and well-taken-care-of the entire time. Siwa is magical and full of potential. We hope to see even more efforts toward sustainable tourism to protect its natural beauty so it can become one of Egypt’s best destinations. If you’re looking for somewhere off the beaten path, meaningful, and unspoiled — this is it. Siwa was the highlight of our time in Egypt and by far the best place we visited.
