Cairo : Luxor Full Day Guided Tour & Overnight Train Rounded trip

Wow! What a fantastic tour and an amazing experience. My family and I started out in Cairo and the tour company helped us organize not just transport to the train station, but sleeper train tickets as well. The driver picked us up from the hotel and deposited our bags directly into our sleeper car on the train, staying with us the entire time. We felt very confident not to get lost. Once we arrived in Luxor, Carlos picked us up and gave us the first half of our tour. He must have truly studied the history because we felt we were with a true Egyptologist! Carlos quickly discovered we not only like the history but also the ancient math and engineering marvels and adapted his tour to explain how everything was built. What a treasured and custom experience!! We had a lovely first day touring and you would think the review ends there but it does not. Carlos and the tour company helped us organize a nice clean welcoming hotel where we spent our evening by the pool. After a long travel day, it was most welcome. Again, come morning, he was right there to guide us. This isn't just a tour, it's a service! It's a personal friend and guide who knows the city! What a treat!! After another day of tours, we were taken back to the train station for our return to Cairo. Again, door to door service from drop off at station, pick up on the other end and finally returned to our hotel. I cannot rave enough about the kindness, safety and security of this entire experience. In particular, Carlos. He regularly checked in on how much or little information we wanted, gave us plenty of time to see and water the monuments and seemed just generally excited and proud of his city. Take this tour! Ask for customisations based on what you want to see, don't be afraid to make changes so you get the experience you want. They are so accommodating and kind. Make sure you say hi to Carlos from the O'Donnell family and most of all, enjoy your trip!

Khalde was a great tour guide. He took us to a variety of sights & an excellent restaurant for lunch. My family & I all enjoyed the food, was extremely tasteful! Most definitely recommend booking with him because he explained the history of every sight very well.

This review is for tour guide Khalid Elsaady who I was with at Luxor. Khalid was very punctual and flexible giving me time to see sites a little more as well as working with my schedule when I was very tired. He was very well informed in ancient egyptian history and helped take alot of great pictures. I had some GREAT Egyptian food through his recommendation, my first time eating Egyptian food and it was so tasty. I recommend this tour and recommend you get Khalid if you are getting on this tour.

We loved our trip! A driver picked us up and waited with us until we were on the train. Our guide Hani picked us up and we started the tour immediately. Hani was very knowledgeable and attentive to our requests. We loved every site we visited. They took us to a coffee shop to kill time until our departure back to Cairo. The driver picked us up and waited with us til the train came so I liked how they made sure we were safe and continued our journey. If you are pressed for time like us then this trip is worth it.
