A super fun night
It was a memorable show that I recommend, it tells a bit of Brazil with music and animation, the house is beautiful the excellent food and our friend who was serving us throughout exceptional his name Tom was super, end of the show sorry to have finished.

Enchanting experience!
The place is beautiful, very well cared for, clean and elegant. It was amazing to experience a historic space with all the modernity and good taste of the reform.
The service was impeccable — from the staff at the box office and the hostess to Cassia, our waitress, who deserves a special praise: super friendly, helpful and attentive.
The audio and video were perfect, and the actors, singers and musicians were extremely well prepared and synchronized. It is obvious the care with every detail of the show. The parts of the Amazon and São Paulo showed a fantastic integration between audiovisual and performance.
My favourites were the “lustrinhas” — they bring lightness, humor and make very smooth transitions between acts.

An unfortunate event
It was our first time at The Roxy and whilst the show itself was fantastic and was in a lovely setting, we were disappointed with a few things that happened.
First of all they could not get a simple meal request correct, and when they rectified their mistake, they charged me for an additional dinner. The Roxy also compounded their error by not having a card facility that worked, although earlier in the evening we purchased some photos with the same card and it worked fine. In the end we had to pay the excess with dollars
Finally, the exchange rate calculated should have been 73 Brazilian Reals - English GBP of about £10 or $13 but we were asked for double that amount - $25.
As we only had $20 dollar bills and rather than cause a fuss and be embarrassed we paid $40, therefore massively overpaying the final bill.
Unfortunately it left a sour taste and ended an excellent evening with something that should really not have happened.
Please be aware when you are paying your final bill at the show.
