Boston to Kennebunkport Day Trip with Optional Trolley Tour

Nothing quite captures the beauty of New England like the Southern Maine Coast. Incredible scenery, lighthouses, history and great food make this trip a "must" on any Boston visit! After being picked up by our professional guide, you can relax and enjoy the 75 mile drive to York, Maine. There you will stop to view the Cape Neddick Light Station. Construction on this awe inspiring lighthouse was completed on July 1st, 1879. Nubble Light as it is called, is widely regarded as one of the most photographed lighthouses in the country. From there your journey will take you to the town of Ogunquit. Stroll along Marginal Way and enjoy the beauty of a quintessential New England coastline. This 1 1/4 mile path winds along the cliffs overlooking the beating shores of the Atlantic. Next stop will be Kennebunkport where you will have the option to purchase a 1 hour narrated trolley tour. You will also have approximately 2.hours of free time to enjoy lunch, shopping or whatever else you may choose.

You will be picked up at your Downtown Boston hotel by our professional guide.
You will stop to view one of the most photographed lighthouses in all of the United States. Once in York, you will stop to view the Cape Neddick Light Station. You will have time to walk along this incredible 1 1/4 mile path overlooking the beating shores of the Atlantic Ocean.
You will have time to wander around Perkins Cove and perhaps purchase a 50 minute Lobster boat tour (based upon availability and schedule)
Spend you afternoon enjoying the many sights and sounds of this amazing New England Town.

This trip was fantastic from start to finish. Jen was a great guide who gave us the full experience. Pick up was prompt and the vehicle was clean. The whole area was absolutely beautiful and each stop was great with enough time to appreciate the surroundings. If in Boston, would definitely recommend this trip

Excellent tour. Lucia was a good guide, giving lots of information on route. Good breakfast stop, though a little rushed. Two good stop offs, with a good amount of time. Ample time in Kennebunkport.

Nice stops, beautiful tour. We did the optional trolley tour and it was nice. The brewery had good beers, Allison's was fairly priced and good.

Yes good value…..lovely stop for blueberry muffin just out of the oven with a ton of butter to set us up for the day. Plenty time to enjoy any stops on the route.

There are serious raining in the morning. The cliff walk along the Altantiic Ocean is canelled. The weather in the afternoon gets a bit better. Shopping is the only thing you do there.

It is an all day trip. Starts early in the morning and ends in the evening. Anple rest stops along the way that were fun. Kennebunkport is beautiful and lots to see. This tour is totally worth it!

Tim was our driver. He was fenominal! He gave us history as we drove along and was extremely friendly and personable. He was accommodating to all and never seemed frazzled even when 4 out of our group went to the wrong place to get picked up. I would highly recommend New England Tours and ask for your driver to be Tim. Wonderul experience!!!
