Borobudur Sunrise Tour at the Temple

Seeing the sunrise from atop Borobudpur Temple was very special. There were a lot of other tourists, but 95% were very respectful of allowing you to capture photos without being in your line of sight for ages pulling all the poses for their uploads. The company I booked with provided a driver, BHIMO (yes, that's how he spells it!), who was fantastic. Very safe driver. Very pleasant company with a genuinely warm smile at all times. He made sure everything went very smoothly with this booking. Highly recommend BHIMO.

A fantastic experience – everything was organised to perfection, starting with our driver, the ever-so-friendly and punctual Eko. The sunrise at Borobudur Temple was well worth the early start. Prambanan was just as impressive, and our guide, Lintang, was extremely friendly and really knowledgeable about the history of the Hindu temple. Highly recommended!

Visiting the Borobudur Temple was a great experience. Despite not seeing the sunrise due to clouds, we enjoyed the time spend there a lot. We were guided by Fajar who took care of us during the whole trip. We really appreciated it and definitely recommend this experience with Fajar.

This is a definite must do trip. It is an early start but it's certainly worth it. Great communication from our guide Bhimo regarding pick up and he was happy to let us snooze in the car as he drove us to the site. He stayed with us on arrival to help us sort out the shoes and make sure we went off with the right group as it can be pretty busy. The trip itself was fantastic. Nothing can prepare you for the sight of the sun coming up over the mountains lighting up the temple. The breakfast at the site was great- something for everyone. Then our guide Bhimo was waiting for us when we came back to take us back to the hotel.

Fajar was punctual for the pickup, friendly and joking during the trip, and he explained everything in detail so that we could enjoy the scheduled routes to the fullest. Very good guide. We recommend the experience.

Special experience to see the sunrise at Borobodur. The transfer pick-up was neat on time and also took us to other activities. I missed all of them. A bottle of water that we forgot to bring in the early morning, or a glass of water at the ticket booth. Everything else fine

We had a lovely experience on the Borobudur sunrise trip from start to finish. Our driver, Dayu, was prompt, kind, and patient. He walked us through registration quickly and made sure we quickly connected with our tour guide at the temple. The trip up to the top was easy, even with our 6yo. The views were breathtaking and the whole experience was magical. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Yogyakarta!
