Truth Unveiled by Time is a marble sculpture by Gian Lorenzo Bernini. It was executed between 1646 and 1652. The artist wanted to show Truth allegorically, as a naked young lady being unveiled by a Time figure above her. However, a figure of Time was never executed. Bernini managed to express his idea by adding the figure in 1665.

Our guide made this museum tour so much fun. Outstanding.
This experience was truly worth the money spent. The guide was exceptional, and the museum limits the number of visitors, which enhances the experience. My husband and I appreciate art but are not enthusiasts, yet we were captivated. The guide brought the pieces to life, making the visit both memorable and enjoyable. I highly recommend it!

Absolutely brilliant tour.
An absolutely brilliant tour and the best we have ever gone on. Our tour guide was so informative, engaging and interesting. She knew so much about all the key pieces of art and I am so glad we did the tour as we got so much more out of the experience than we ever would have done from trying to go round by ourselves or doing an audio guide. Thank you Dooing Experiences.

Seeing marble sculptures...
Seeing marble sculptures up close was a treat. It’s amazing to see the detail by the artist. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and engaging. Be prepared for a 2 story walk up a spiral staircase. There is a lift, but it’s old and can only accommodate two people.
Operator response
Thank you, Alan! We’re delighted that you enjoyed the magnificent sculptures and your guide’s engaging commentary.
