Enjoy a privileged view of the Bay of the Shell and Santa Clara Island in Donostia-San Sebastian The ride lasts 30 minutes to Santa Clara Island. Scan the QR you will see when you enter the boat and access our free audio guide with your smartphone (available in Basque, Spanish, English and French). There you can go down, visit it as long as you want, and come back with the next departures although if you don’t feel like it, you can only take the walk, in which case the estimated duration is 40 minutes. Santa Clara Island, in a natural paradise in the middle of La Concha Bay. There you can enjoy the views of the bay, walk along its paths, know its cliffs, have a drink at the bar (in summer) or take a bath and sunbathe. In addition, the House of the Lighthouse houses the work "Hondalea" by Cristina Iglesias, visitable in Easter and summer Last departure of the day : does not allow disembarkation on Santa Clara Island as there is no more departure to return

Enjoy La Concha Bay from the sea. The tour lasts 30 minutes to Santa Clara Island, with the possibility of visiting it or simply doing the boat tour which will last 40 minutes. From the boat you will see the town hall, La Concha beach, La Perla Thalassotherapy, Mount Urgull, Santa Clara island, Miramar Palace and Pico del Loro, Ondarreta beach, Chillida Wind Comb and Mount Igueldo. It is not a guided tour, smartphone scan the QR you will see on the boat to access the free audio guide (available in Basque, Spanish, English and French)
Santa Clara Island is a natural park in the middle of La Concha Bay. You can stroll along its paths, enjoy the views of the bay, the cliffs of its back, have a drink at the bar, take a dip or visit the work "Hondalea " of the House of the Lighthouse by the sculptor Cristina Iglesias (see opening days at Hondalea.eus).
Once on the island, do not miss the House of the Lighthouse. There you will see the sculpture of the Donostrian artist Cristina Iglesias, Hondalea. Check its opening days at Hondalea.eus.

20-minute water taxi to go to Santa Clara Island, have a drink, take a short walk, and take a dip because the tiny beach is packed with people. It's worth doing, it's nice but not a priority.
Bonjour et merci beaucoup pour votre avis ! 😊 On est ravis que la balade en bateau jusqu'à l'île Santa Clara vous ait plu ! Petite astuce pour la prochaine fois : la plage n'est pas le seul endroit où se baigner, il y a aussi un coin de l'autre côté de l'embarcadère, sans sable, qui est une bonne alternative. Et si jamais le temps n'est pas au rendez-vous, on vous recommande de vous promener dans la partie haute de l'île : les vues y sont magnifiques, et vous pourrez découvrir Hondalea, la sculpture de Cristina Iglesias près du phare, avant de prendre un verre au bar. Il y a de quoi profiter de l'île même sans se baigner ! Au plaisir de vous revoir bientôt 🙌
A great little boat trip around the bay and a pleasant walk to the top. Stopped at the cafe for a coffee and a beer and waited for the next boat. We would have stayed for a swim but as it was overcast, we decided to come back to the main beach. Great value.

The island is quite pretty but very small and a very small beach, crowded. In short, no more than an hour on the island!
L'île de Santa Clara est toute petite. On peut la parcourir tranquillement en une heure. Pour se promener, admirer la vue sur la baie, les falaises à l'arrière ou, en été, prendre un verre au bar ou découvrir la sculpture de Cristina Iglesias à la Casa del Faro. Si vous avez envie d’aller à la plage, de vous baigner, de prendre le soleil… une heure peut sembler un peu juste, mais comme il y a des départs tout au long de la journée, vous pouvez prolonger la visite autant que vous le souhaitez. Quoi qu’il en soit, la visite de l’île est facultative : ceux qui le souhaitent peuvent choisir de ne pas débarquer et de se contenter de la promenade en bateau, qui dure environ 40 minutes dans la baie.

GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY. The excursion is worth the cost! very well organized, it is smooth, you have a departure schedule but you are free for the return with shuttles every half hour, they wait for the clients who are about to arrive. The explanations are on your phone. we are dropped off on an island where we can stroll, swim, and dine in complete tranquility. It is a good time with family or friends. The bar has very kind and welcoming staff. Good relaxed musical atmosphere.
