Wow, Craig was an excellent tour guide for the Blue Mountains! This is a full- day tour with a later start time than most, and also a later end time so that we could experience a beautiful sunset and see the stars while in the Blue Mountains. We loved that this tour does not include any crowded areas or theme parks (no Scenic World, yay!). Craig clearly has a real love for the area and is highly knowledgeable as well. He has secret spots with incredible views, clearly not known to many others. The hiking was moderate, not always easy, but Craig made it much easier with the use of a some rope handholds in a couple places. I’m not an avid hiker but I was able to do it all. Craig really makes sure that you get great experiences. Craig’s van is very nice and comfortable, and fits 8 guests easily. Loved the small group with no small kids (our group ranged from about 30 to 70 years old). The pies for lunch were a nice touch, and the wine, cheese and snacks later were very welcome. Guided by a passionate hiker and photographer who has spent a lifetime in the Blue Mountains, this small-group day tour from Sydney goes where the tour buses don't. In a group of no more than 10, walk into the bush and find wild kangaroos grazing in Megalong Valley, then take real trails to lookouts most tours never reach. Want to push further on a longer, steeper stretch? You can. Want the shorter, easier path to the same view? You can do that too, and the group meets back up on the other side. Lunch is a proper Aussie pie with salad from Mountain High Pies, an award-winning Blue Mountains bakery, with around 20 varieties including vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free. As dusk falls at Echo Point, enjoy a twilight spread of Shiraz, Brie and Danish Blue cheese, crackers, hummus and Australian sweets while Sulphur-Crested Cockatoos dive off the escarpment to roost. A scenic drive along Cliff Drive through one of the Blue Mountains’ prettiest villages.

Wonderful day in the Blue Mountains
We had such a lovely day exploring the Blue Mountains with Craig. The small group size was perfect and we ended the day watching the sunset and sharing wine and snacks.

Brilliant day in the Blue Mountains
Really great tour. I was worried that it would be a string of view point stops. Instead, we went “off piste” and ended up in some truly magical places. Weather was perfect, too. Craig is the owner/operator and he clearly cares about what he does and how he does it. Very professional and insightful. That sunset spot is such a treat, followed by some wine and cheese under the stars.

If you like adventure and nature, away from the traditional tours, this is for you.
Definitely for nature lovers. You don't need to have much trekking experience or great physical condition. The guide ensures the routes are very manageable. I did it two days before the Sydney marathon and I was afraid of ending up super tired, but that wasn't the case. You must have enough time since you return to Sydney at 8:30 PM. If you have a late dinner or show, I recommend not scheduling it for the same day. Two meals are provided. A lunch at a local stand and at the end the guide offers a cheese board, wine, chips, and sweets. With a protein bar halfway through. So you don't need to bring food. Maybe water or coffee. Try to bring pants, sunscreen, sunglasses, and suitable shoes

This was by far the best...
This was by far the best thing we did during our trip to Sydney. Craig is an incredible human and tour guide. How special it was to be surrounded by other people who had such a deep appreciation for nature cannot be overstated. We really wanted to do a little bit of hiking on our trip but didn’t want to drive. This experience was the highlight of our trip and I would recommend it to everyone. Thank you, Craig!!!

This is the BEST intimate and tailored tour you will do
FeelGood! Nature tours are awesome!!. We booked a private tour and Craig tailored a day specific to our child’s physical needs. He shifted a few things in real time depending upon the weather and how we were feeling. We had a wonderful time and were taken to some amazing spots that felt private. I don’t think I saw another tour bus the whole day. Amazing time.

Amazing Local Blue Mountain Experience
We went on a day trip to the Blue Mountains with Craig and it was amazing! He was knowledgeable in so much information from the Blue Mountains creation to the trees we were looking at. Craig took us off the beaten path, showing us some amazing trails that a local knows about that the tourists aren’t all going to. You could definitely feel the love that Craig has for the Blue Mountains in his trail guiding. We also got to see some kangaroos and the Three Sisters at sunset, finished off with some drinks and cheese. This was a great experience if you like hiking and want to see some really amazing sites. Craig was also more than happy to take pictures for us which is always super nice when you’re traveling.

Craig was an amazing tour guide! We saw such beautiful sites in the blue Mountains! He took us to places that were off the beaten track , which was great! I would highly recommend this tour if you were staying in Sydney or anywhere!
