We booked the BloodThirsty Hungary - Castle District tour and it was fantastic. We learned so much about the dark history of Hungary, the myths surrounding Dracula, and even the fascinating lore behind the ravens. Our guide, Oscar, was incredible! He was full of enthusiasm, wore a great costume, and made the stories come alive. Highly recommend!

Joe was very entertaining and shared a lot of historical stories and information. I’m impressed with his ability to remember the dialogue for so many stories and adding fun side comments at every turn. Truly a good man who took care to make sure we were all safe and entertained. I will be sure to research the history, as I found the stories fascinating.

Travel alot and always try to do a ghost / horror tour. Joe did not disappoint. I'd say top 3 of all time in tours I've done. Joe was soooo engaging that even others not on our tours would stop to see what what was so interesting. It was also pretty apt that when we started the dark history of Dracula, the thunder and lightning came (so to did the rain) that gave the story and even better backdrop. Ever the great guide, Joe offered his umbrella and found us a sheltered alley way to continue the tour for those who wanted to stay. He was so good that no one wanted to leave even though it was given as an option. I would do this tour again even though I know the stories because as well as being a great storyteller Joe was just so personable and kept checking that everyone was okay through various points of tour. If you do this tour, check Joe is your host, you will be satisfied!
Oscar was absolutely fantastic. We have had many tour guides before, but every one of them paled compared to him. He is knowledgeable, charismatic, involving and theatrical.
Oscar, the guide, led us through the bloody and horrific tales of the bloodthirsty Hungary. It was an amazing walk by the churches and historical buildings. Oscar did an amazing job and kept us all invested in the stories. Really great storyteller (and he also looked very good in his outfit and that gorgeous mustache). Can’t recommend this tour enough, just take it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had difficulty finding the group so missed the very start as we had not received the final instruction about meeting by the statue. However Oscar was a very charismatic story teller who made the history come to life. Teresa and I really enjoyed the tour so bonus marks to Oscar. We also appreciated his advice on our next appointment and found a quieter bar where we had a great chat with folks visiting from Vienna. Thank you Oscar.
