Bilbao Guggenheim Museum Entry Ticket

Booking with Viator was a drama. It takes a while to get the original ticket and they are not very cooperative at Guggenheim themselves. I'd rather queue for a ticket at the Guggenheim myself. Also a piece cheaper...

Absolutely amazing place, and so much to see and interact with! Plan to spend the day and pace yourself. Be warned, though. I pre-booked my ticket with Viator, but the activity provider was Paris River Cruises. IT'S A SCAM! When I turned up as instructed and showed mi 'ticket', no booking could be found. The person on the desk asked who did I book it with. I didn't even finish saying 'Viator' before she told me it was a scam. I paid the €18 and had a great experience despite the setback.

I am slightly shocked that I had to pay more through you. Next time I will stand in line and not buy online anymore. There were not many people at the ticket counter.

Excellent experience worth the time and effort to get there. Need to allow a couple of hours at least to experience the entire museum

Incredible museum. Works of art highlighted, clearly explained. Spacious rooms. Pleasant staff. Map given at the entrance is useless because the route is well marked: fluid and easy movement. Presentations and explanations for each room in French (Spanish and English). The audio guide wasn't very useful to me because the museum's explanations and Wikipedia were enough. Because of this, I find the price high for a complete and attentive 3-hour visit.

At the entrance, it turned out that the code sent was not for the admission tickets. It was also not possible to download the tickets. I had to buy new tickets at the museum; this went without any problems.

The Guggenheim Museum Bilbao is peobably best known for its dwsign by Frank Gehry than by its collection. The collection is neither bad nor good - most visitors will have seen these same artists represented at other world museums (this collection boasts a large Koons plus the mammoth constructions by Richard Serra, however). It struck me how relatively few pieces were on exhibit, although special exhibits (Asawa, Johns) took up much of the room. If you like post WWII art, you'd enjoy the collection.

My ticket was not accepted. Never booking with you again.! Had to buy another ticket. Shame on you..

Kept the entry ticket on my phone and it was good for a half hour after our appointed time, barely made it. Just scanned by the employee at the entrance and was perfect. So happy it worked so easily.
