Many impressions in a short time and learned about the historical background. 3.5 hours were too long...
A great way to hit the spots in Dresden. Our guide Annette was very engaging and knowledgeable about Dresden. We really enjoyed seeing the city and learning its history on the bikes. It’s a safe and easy way to see the city. Highly recommended this tour.
I’ve done many tours across my 4 months of travel across Europe and this was my least enjoyable or valuable tour. I found this tour very confusing and felt like I didn’t learn much. I found the guide didn’t explain things very well and the information confusing and often contradictory. This could have been lost in translation. I asked a couple of questions and these were not received well and I felt I couldn’t ask questions after this. At one point I fell off my bike, due to avoiding hitting a child, and the guide didn’t notice. I don’t get the feeling he would have cared TBH. Helmets should also be included in the price of the tour! I understand they aren’t required in Germany but having to pay extra isn’t good customer service.
Super nice , exciting and informative tour
Fantastic varied tour where we saw a lot and gained great knowledge of the city's history
We had a fantastic bicycle tour of Dresden with Ana. She took us on a less crowded path. We covered the Gothic centre, the palace and opera house, the greener part- the grand garden, residential part and Elbe river from both sides. I enjoyed the cycling on the selected route. Very less traffic and not much of up and down. The stops and her information were excellent. Thank you, Ana.
Excellent tour with guide, Annette. Fitted out with suitable, well maintained bikes at the start. Had originally booked as English tour, however as we were the only English speaking participants, Annette accommodated with both English & German. What a great way to experience Dresden. Lots of stops at significant points with explanations and history given. The three hours flew by! It was a hot day & Annette managed to squeeze in an ice cream stop, where the locals go, which was really good and appreciated! Would recommend this tour if in Dresden
Very informative and engaging. Beautiful mix of the destinations visited. The ride along the Elbe River and through the New Town was also lovely.
The tour was great, about 10.5 miles, of course with many stops and a wonderful guide named Anett. We learned both historical and current information, as well as funny and curious anecdotes, including specific tips for further experiences in Dresden, and we even received culinary recommendations. All in all, I felt very safe on the quiet streets we rode, as I did not have my own bike but received a rented one. In my case, I only had 3 gears because I wanted an extra small bike due to my height, but the 3 gears were sufficient for the tour and local conditions. I would definitely book this tour again!
very informative tour with a very nice guide who did the tour in both German and English
