Experience Bastei, the crown jewel of Saxon Switzerland! Explore several breathtaking viewpoints, among which the most stunning overlooks the Elbe Canyon, the largest sandstone canyon in Europe. From a height of 190 meters above the river, behold the beauty of Saxon Switzerland National Park - the table mountains of Lilienstein and Königstein with its impregnable fortress. Then walk across this magnificent Bridge perched high above the river Elbe. This awe-inspiring landmark holds the distinction of being the first tourist attraction in the region, constructed in 1851 to connect the rocky peaks with Neurathen Fortress. Prepare to be marveled by its architectural wonder!
Explore the magnificent Neurathen Fortress, a medieval marvel nestled in the sandstone cliffs. Prepare to be mesmerized by yet another stunning perspective of the Bastei Bridge, and the surrounding valley with forest theater. But Neurathen holds more than stunning views! Get ready to travel back in time. We'll uncover archaeological treasures hinting at a surprising past, when this region was submerged beneath a vast sea millions of years ago.
After exploring Bastei Bridge and Neurathen Fortress, we'll embark on a scenic drive through the Elbe River Canyon to the Czech side of the National Park - Elbe Sandstone Mountains.
(Not available from November to March) The 2km hike navigates us to the Pravcicka Gate. Approaching it from below, you will see the majesty with which it stands at the top of the surrounding landscape. It is the symbol of the Bohemian Switzerland National Park and you will know why, once you see it.
You need to recharge your batteries, so the next stop will be a traditional Czech and locally renowned restaurant. A rich "a la carte" lunch will be a welcome and well-deserved reward. Traditional Czech and international dishes are served (including vegetarian options). We highly recommend trying Czech beer, which is one of the best in the world. This restaurant is very popular with the locals and has the best reputation in Bohemian Switzerland. We are always very welcome at this restaurant and we have a pre-booked table in the best place that will be waiting for you ready before our arrival. In addition, we have an advantage over other guests in the kitchen, so the wait for food is significantly shorter.
Then we will drive you into the Tisa Rocks labyrinth, where Chronicles of Narnia was filmed. The rock city with lots of towers, small squares and mysterious corners will win you over with its captivating beauty. Anyone who ventures into the bowels of the rocks to enjoy the extraordinary charm of natural beauty will be rewarded with a nice experience. And as you know, no one can take the experience away from you.
After an amazing day exploring Bohemian and Saxon Switzerland, we'll head back to Dresden for a relaxing ride. Chat with fellow adventurers, share your favorite photos, and unwind after a day of adventure. We'll arrive back in Dresden comfortably, ensuring a perfect ending to your unforgettable trip.

The alternative (big bus) was much cheaper. However, the car had very little AC, no wifi, and driving slowly to save on gas and one of the tourists was talking nonsense most of the time. The guide was pleasant but didn't have much to tell us. The lunch was late and nothing special... It was however extremely refreshing after two days of visiting Dresden splendid museums to go out in the countryside. recommended

Super holistic experience for family with two teens. Was only possible for us to get to see all 3 unique nature experiences in one day with this VIP tour. Milo was an attentive and service minded tour guide who did everything he could to give us a good experience with stories and guidance. And we got it. A bit expensive, clearly cheaper to do it yourself. But as written. With two teenagers it was nice to be driven, entertained and we didn't have to arrange ourselves, just follow. Everyone was impressed and delighted with the 10 hours. We were 8 in the car and it worked really well. Can be recommended and we got touched us in a good way.

The tour description did not promise too much! The spectacular rock formations and breathtaking landscapes in the Bohemian & Saxon Switzerland National Park were truly fascinating! With Dali and Bara, we had two great and knowledgeable guides/drivers. Only the very late lunch at 2:45 PM was somewhat unfortunate, or rather, prior information about this would be desirable so that the participants can plan accordingly. All in all, however, a very successful tour with wonderful impressions!

Lunch comes after the second stop and the exact timing depends on the pace of the group on the trails, so it varies from day to day. Water and snacks are available in the vehicle free of charge throughout the day, which our guides point out at the start — so nobody has to wait for a meal to have something.

It was really fun and the guide was very nice and helpful. Every detail was perfect like foods and snacks, the tour was amazing and the scenery was beautiful. Our guide, Barbora was great and highly recommended. In conclusion the trip was great and we had lots of fun, it is a long tour but this doesn't mean it was boring nor tiring, on the contrary it was getting better as we went. It is an excellent activity for families who like nature and adventures.

Really beautiful landscspe sights on this tour making it worthwhile. The guys at Saxon Tours, including young Milo the guide, were professional and friendly, really looked after us well ensuring we had a great experience. Food was excellent, and no hidden costs on the day. Bring change for tips as there are not many opportunities to change money on the Czech side.
