There isn't a gate to pass through when you enter Olympic National Park. Encompassing nearly 1 million miles, Olympic National Park is another world.

When conditions are right, we'll drive up to Hurricane Ridge to experience the sweeping views of the Olympic Mountains, Salish Sea, and even all the way across to Victoria and Vancouver Island. In summer, we'll travel up to wander along the trails through the subalpine meadows and try to spot deer and marmots among the wildflowers. In winter, (road closure and weather dependent) we'll trek along the ridge on snowshoes and experience how beautiful the change of seasons can be.

We'll board the ferry once again from Bainbridge Island. As we come across the Sound, the sunset lights up the Seattle Skyline to welcome you back to the city.

Olympic National Park overview

Me and my wife were really enjoying the tour. Gia Le is an awesome guide and person. It was really interesting and cool. She explained and answered all kind of questions and make our journey not just memorable but also intellectual and mentally chilled.

Great choice!

This is a long day but an efficient way to see numerous sights. Well worth it! It would be hard to replicate this on your own so let someone else worry with the ferry schedule, the driving, and food! Very attentive to comfort and the food. Lunch and snacks were delicious and plentiful.

Hilarious and historical

Just loved taking a tour with Lindsay to Olympic National Park. What an exceptional tour and guide. He is hilarious! His energy just made the day and he brought all members of our group into the fun. We learned and laughed our way through the park, spending time wandering around in tide pools, listening to a waterfall, and peacefully walking through the forest. The food was amazing too. Can’t ask for more out of a tour.

Good but pricey option if you don't have time or means to do a lot of driving from Seattle on your own.

These tours are run by independent providers, and their idea of an itinerary isn't always the same as what Viator shows on it's website. Stops may not be the same. If there are certain must see locations on the itinerary that convince you to take the tour, be forewarned that they aren't guaranteed. This tour doesn't go to the rainforest or beach areas of the park. The name "Olympic National Park Highlights" is misleading. Places like the Hoh Rainforest and Rialto Beach, which are definitely highlights of this park are not visited.

Exception Day Trip

Our family had an amazing trip today to the Olympic National Park. Our guide was Marty and we throughly enjoyed the day with him. He was friendly, enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. In addition the company communicated exceptionally throughout the booking process and they were able to tailor the tour for our needs. The day will be a memory that we cherish forever. The ferry ride over, time on hurricane ridge, the waterfall and crescent lake are more beautiful than I could have imagined.

Fantastic day at Olympic National Park!

We had a great experience with Evergreen Escapes at Mount Rainier, so we booked a second tour with them to Olympic National Park and this experience was also fantastic. Our Naturalist guide was Gia Le. She picked us up at the designated time from our hotel. The van was clean and stocked with food and drinks (water, juice). Gia was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. We first took the Bainbridge Ferry from Seattle, then drove through a floating bridge to the entrance of the Olympic NP where we stopped for coffee and breakfast cake. Then we took a scenic drive up to the Hurricane Ridge. It was very beautiful there and we even took a hike to the top of the viewpoint. After spending good time we took a drive to Salt Creek Recreation Area where we had a delicious lunch, and sepnt a few minutes by the tidepool. The water views were great. From there we went to Lake Crescent and did a hike in the old growth forest (it was so nice there). Olympic NP is an amazing place where you get to see mountains, water bodies, lakes as well as old growth forest. After spending a good time through the day we drive back to Bainbridge and took the scenic ferry back to Seattle. Gia dropped us off at the requested drop-off point. One thing we really appreciated about Evergreen Escapes is their small-group approach. Gia took everyone's expectations into account while planning the day. We wish her the best and we will definitely consider another tour with Evergreen Escapes in future.
