Description

No two tours with Evergreen Escapes are the same! Our guides craft itineraries that reflect the best of what the Park has to offer that day, including group interests and dynamics. Please note that the itinerary outlined is a SAMPLE of potential destinations that could be included in the tour. Experience Mount Rainier's highlights on a day tailored to you. Our TripAdvisor "Hall of Fame" guides run the only day tours permitted to explore more than a mile from the park road as the National Park is ecologically important & delicate. The U.S. Park Service restricts other tour companies - our competitors offer "road tours." We are professional nature educators (not just bus drivers) that have dedicated our lives to artful travel. Our all-inclusive small-group day trip is limited to just 10 travelers.

One of the best tours...

One of the best tours we’ve been on. Max was a great guide, so knowledgeable and personable. Everything was very well planned and thought out. We learned so much! Abundance of great snacks and the lunch was top notch. It was an amazing experience that I would recommend to anyone. We will definitely use them again next time we are in Seattle.

Spend the money, take the tour.

You might be researching guided tours to Mt. Rainier and, when you see the prices, be tempted to choose a less expensive company. This is your sign to resist that urge. Take. This. Tour. We only had to bring ourselves and the clothes on our backs (and I'm pretty sure they will help you get outfitted properly too. We even rented boots from them so we didn't have to buy and pack them. Our guide, Zacc was, in short, amazing. Knowledgeable, friendly, gently encouraging (when my teen was having a tough time with one of the more strenuous parts of the hike), accommodating, funny, and all around great. With this tour, we didn't have to find a grocery, pack snacks and lunch, etc. The company provides ample snacks, water and other "bevies," plus breakfast (with coffee and hot chocolate) and a delicious lunch. We got on the bus, enjoyed ourselves, and were taken care of the whole time. We learned so much about the area, the weather and how things are changing, the animals, vegetation, history, and so much more. I highly recommend this tour with this company. It's pricier than the others, but the service, the value, the experience are all worth it.

We realize you can’t see...

We realize you can’t see everything in Mt Renier in one day. However, our naturalist and guide Megan did an outstanding job. In one long but memorable day we saw more beautiful sites than we expected. Glaciers, bears, wild flowers to name a few. We were very satisfied with Peek experience and our guide Megan.

Highly Recommend

We had a wonderful experience with Calvin on our tour. He was knowledgeable and friendly. The views of Mt Rainier were stunning and the nature surrounding it impressive. It was a nice balance of short hikes and stops with views. A comment from our group was " we have never had such a nice lunch on a Viator excursion" The small group was a plus.

A Walk to Majesty

We had a great time with Zaach today. He was phenominal tour guide. We had mix of experince with guests so he had a pace that worked for everyone and the more adventurous could go further and meet up with main group without delaying the time. Food offered on trip was excellent and snacks and beverages had a great variety. Mt. Rainer is just awesome seeing in person. Seeing the effect of tacoma lasting a hundred years. He is also had great skill at identifying flora and fauna on the hike.

A Wonderful Family trip To Mt Ranier National Park Park

We had a Wonderful trip and experience. Our Guide Megan was very knowledgeable, nice, accommodating and Fun to be with. Megan was very passionate about sharing her knowledge of nature and Mt Rainier National park. She was prompt at our pickup and drop off at the Sheraton Hotel. She had a well planned itinerary for us. We had a short breakfast stop on our way to the park - provided by Megan - And then proceeded to Silver Falls. Beautiful waterfall and easily accessible . We then stopped at Chinook Pass for wonderful views. Then onto Stevens Canyon Entrance to Box Canyon stopping along the way for short hikes and beautiful scenic views. We then entered the Paradise Inn parking and did the flower meadow loop hike (must do / see this) and more hiking at this location. We saw beautiful flowers, marmot and deer. We had some time to visit the gift shops and Inn restaurant if we desired… We then proceeded to a scenic outlook along the Nisqually River and then to the Old Growth Forest - another must do / see on the tour! Food - breakfast snacks, a picnic lunch and snacks and drinks / water provided the whole day, were excellent… Megan was a wealth of knowledge and shared information along the whole trip! This trip was a 10 out of 10!!
