Thank you Dale! The excursion was the best excursion of our trip & we did 3! He was so kind and cared about us! He told us about his childhood which made the experience special! the beaches so Beautiful & gorgeous! Served us ice cream and ginger beer which was such a great touch. I must say this is 100% worth the money! i highly recommend this. Larry & Melissa
This is an action packed adventure made even better if you are fortunate enough to have Ashley & Angel as your tour guides! They impart a literal wealth of knowledge all the while allowing their fun personalities to shine as you tour the “bermudaful” island. Both are native Bermudians who are genuinely excited to share their love of the island. The jungle experience is authentic as are the caves (be ready to bend & climb through narrow passages), the cliff jump in the Blue Hole is exhilarating (should you choose to do it) with gorgeous views, lunch at Elaina’s is delicious (choose the fish!) and snorkeling and pink sand at Cooper’s Island Nature Preserve is absolutely lovely. We enjoyed every moment of this tour and highly recommend to those in reasonably good health.
We had an amazing time with our tour guide Shawn. The excursion was exactly as described and the lunch was great if you like very flavorful fried fish with rice and peas! I agree with the comments that should in decent physical shape for the walking, swimming and exploring caves. This was a very memorable experience!
This was a simply fantastic tour and overall experience. The jungle, the caves, and the beach were all great. But Angel and Ashley made the trip. They were incredibly knowledgeable and funny. Ashley drove and made it a “Bermuda-ful” trip with her knowledge of the island. Angel knows everyone and is a full “Yellow Pages” of knowledge. The two together are just fun. We all agreed they should do The Amazing Race as a team. I strongly encourage anyone coming to Bermuda to take this tour and have those two as your guides.
Very easy to find the group. Everything was as advertised. You are on the bus for about 1 hour each way. Along the way, our guide Dale, provide a nice tour of Bermuda and the time flew by. The caves were interesting, no spoilers. Swimming inside a cave was just great. The cliff jumping was not as scary as you might think. Got some beach time with an excellent snorkeling spot. Had a nice dinner with ice cream and plenty to drink.
The tour was an all-day tour lasting 6 hours. We did so much on the tour. We hiked through the trails, explored a cave, swam in another cave, jumped off a cliff into the famous blue hole swimming hole, and swam at a crystal clear beach. Lunch was also provided, which was delicious. We got ice cream as a dessert included. A vegetarian option was provided at lunch. We had a small group of 10-11. The small group was nice, and we all became friends by the end. We never felt rushed, which was nice. We had plenty of time to do each activity. The tour guide was very informative. We gave narration while driving to and from each location. We told us about everything we passed.
Let me start with this was a 5star rating and you should do it! It was amazing… now for the details Incase you didn’t want to read further. We were on a cruise and didn’t book through the cruise line. We were in Bermuda 2 days and figured we had time. We were soooo nervous not going through the cruise- and we were not disappointed. We told them our ship left at the time they were expecting to get back- since we were first to sign up- they moved the time to work with us. We had Millet as our tour guide and he is an awesome human! He was informative and drove well! He is all about cave safety, jumping, swimming, and just over all being safe! The caves were awesome, swimming in them was amazing and cold- but well worth it! Cliff jumping- sooo fun! Not too cold- beautiful water- just as the photos look! We got to go to a very uncrowded beach with clear water and they provided the basic snorkel and mask! We saw more here than on Paid excursion in Honduras! The food- best food I’ve ever had on an excursion. Get the fish! It was soooo good! The ginger beer was to die for and the cream was amazing too. If you’re hesitating- book it now or as soon as you get off the ship in the little tour building. The girls in there were also friendly, eased our minds, and also wonderful humans! I want to add, this is a very active excursion- if you can’t duck low, swim, walk for a while, hike, or be active- please do everyone a favor and pick something suitable for your body.
Shawn is a great guide and is very knowledgeable about the island and its history. I was so glad he was our guide. I read the reviews and he is phenomenal! Please read the instructions about wearing the correct footwear. The terrain is exactly how it is described We loved our lunch and it was timed out well with plenty of time.
Milton was amazing tour guide Must do experience in Bermuda 5 stars
Merritt was a great tour guide. We loved the cave and swimming! I really enjoyed Merritt’s stories and was able to ask him so many questions.
