The Benagil Caves are worldwide known and definitely a must see for those who come to Algarve. The famous Algar de Benagil has been rated as one of the Top 10 best caves in the world! We visit all the caves in Portimão, Carvoeiro, Benagil and Praia da Marinha. There are lots of colourful caves along the coast that give value to the trip, most of them hidden and totally natural that are definitely stunning, beautiful, paradisic views.
As we use a small and low boat that takes a small group, it is possible to get inside all the caves and visit them from the inside, where their natural beauty is. You get to take better pictures and get a closer look at all these beautiful caves!

Beautiful boat tour
We were a group of 3 couples on a cruise to Portimao and booked the 1.5 hour Bengal caves tour. Very good communication with the company and a great value. A very easy 20 minute walk to the kiosk at the beach and then a 5 minute walk to the boat. Good guide (english was not great) but it is a beautiful tour and one of the highlights of our NCL cruise. When done with the tour, there is a beach boardwalk right next door with bars and restaurants. The beach there is very nice.

Fantastic fun sightseeing, massive smiles the whole trip
Second trip booked with Arctic Seagulls and it was just as amazing as the first one a couple of months ago. Highly recommend, great company & tour guides. Being in a smaller boat enabled us to explore places bigger boats can’t get to. Loved every minute of the trip. Thank you for making our holiday so memorable.

Good Times Await!
Prepare to get your money's worth and your mind blown (if not your back) as the speedboats bump and jostle their way thru a half dozen or more of the famous Benagil ocean caves.
We have traveled all over North America, Hawaii etc and we are hard pressed to find a natural wonder that rivals the caves for splendor! Highly, enthusiastically recommended!

You don't need to book with Get Your Guide. There are plenty of booking kiosks. I booked the dinghy trip from Portimao. There were about 15 of us on the dinghy. He gave us a nice tour of the various caves. Mr. Manuel was our guide in both English and Italian. He was very friendly and took pictures of us. We went for a swim offshore, if anyone wanted to. The return trip was a nice, quick dinghy trip. Better than the catamaran, which is slow and doesn't reach some points because it's too big.

Fun, beautiful, and safe
Great experience for my family of four, including two kids (8 and 10). Lots of info; safe; and fun. And for anyone who is claustrophobic (I am very), there is nothing to worry about. The caves are very open and there is a lot of light. You’re also not in any of them for very long - just long enough to enjoy the beauty. Highly recommend this tour!

Nice experience, friendly guide. Unfortunately the sea was very rough on that day. But the views were actually breathtaking.
