The best way to spend a long layover in Beijing. I was picked up at Beijing airport by Sam. Finding Sam was very easy and communications with the tour operator throughout were fantastic. We drove straight out to the Great Wall in his EV which was a smooth trip and interesting to see the varied parts of Beijing’s outer suburbs. The Mutianyu section of the wall is an incredible piece of architecture and very spectacular. I spent 2 and a half hours walking the wall and exploring, taking photos. Just an incredible experience. I met Sam again and realised that he had been happy to go with me to interpret and explain but I had just taken off! On the way back to the airport we went to a restaurant for a beautifully fresh and tasty lunch…perfect after all the exercise. We also squeezed in a stop for a Chinese Tea ceremony and tasting. Delivered back to the airport well in time for my flight! Definitely recommend for a long layover in Beijing!

Fred was excellent. Exceptionally Customer driven and keen for us to have a great experience and avoid the queues wherever possible. The recommendation to bring our trip forward from 9 am departure to 6 or 7 am meant that the queue for the chairlift was nice and small!!

Beautiful experience. I booked a last-minute private tour with a driver. Leo, the name of the driver, came to pick me up at the hotel where I was staying in downtown Beijing, he took me to the Great Wall at Mutianyu, parked near the entrance avoiding the shuttles from the main parking lot, and here the surprise began, he bought the entrance ticket for me, made me skip the line that had formed despite the early arrival, accompanied me up the Wall, explained many details and specifics of that section, while I was unaware, he took a lot of photos of me, then he gave me all the time I needed without rushing me. In the end, when we could see the crowd preparing to go up, we left; by the way, Leo advised me to go down with the Toboggan instead of the chairlift. It was fun. In conclusion, I highly recommend this tour and I hope you find Leo as your driver. The assistance and phone advice were also invaluable.

Beijing Mutiyanu or Badaling Great Wall Private Tour with Options
Angie was an amazing tour guide. We booked a 6 to 8 hour tour with her and she provided a lot of history about Beijing the Great Wall and other subjects continously throughout the tour. She was highly engaged and attentive to all of our needs. The logistics regarding transportation and getting through the lines with special passes saved a ton of waiting in the crowded entrance. Angie's English was great and was very helpful giving us directions and information. She accompanied us on our walk of the Wall as well. We never felt we were lost. She guided us all the way. I highly recommend her and her company as a private tour. It will make for a smooth and enjoyable experience with no hassles. It will also save a ton of time than if you take the larger tours as they do not have the special passes. This was the best tour and service we have had.
