Description
Learn how to scuba dive in Puerto Rico, Gran Canaria. During the 2 hour session, you will be familiarized with the diving equipment and given a briefing on the training skills that you will complete during your confined water session. Once you have mastered the skills we will then take you on a fun and unforgettable experience, diving around the reefs and seeing all the marine life that Gran Canaria has to offer. We only dive in small groups, making your experience personal and more fun! If you have a camera please bring this with you :)

Awesome experience
Absolutely amazing. Had a little panic at beginning but staff were wonderful on the dive. Stayed with you every step of the way like guardian angels. Paid 90 euro, worth every bit, a special treat to myself. Would definitely go with Blue Water Diving again 💙 👌

Not for beginners
Definitely not for beginners. It was very rushed, there was experienced divers with us and we felt that they were prioritised in using their time and we didnt get the time before the open water dive. There was no shallow water practice like it says in the description to get used to breathing or the equipment. We did the online info course and were straight out to open water. We didnt do the dive due to feeling unprepared and uninformed and were not reassured. The "information course" is just an app on your phone which didnt have anything really helpful to prepare us. It was wasted money.

Sorry to hear you didnt enjoy the experince however the app gives a very detailed description of what is going to happen, it depends on how people read it. At the diving site we give everybody chance to relax on the surface before we head down underwater. We can do majoirty of things for everyone, however breathing relaxed and calming down is not someting we can control, we can explain and give time, which is what you had and also the instructor spent a long time with you, but as you could not do it we gave the next best option of snorkeling, which you seemed to enjoy. i would recommend more snorkelling excursions before you try diving again so you can get used to breathing through the mouth and without using the nose. This will give you a huge advantage next time you try.

Very friendly yet professional experience. Made a short term booking with my friend. Both never dived before. Still no stress from the guides at all. They made calm, clear and friendly instruction and it felt like they adjusted the trip to our level. The experience itself was was great. We felt well taken care and very safe. Also we could see various animals und took some great pictures. Will definetely go dive again.

Amazing internship!
I did my Dive master internship with Blue Water Diving and i loved every second of it!! I spend a month in and around the dive shop every day, helping out with setting up equipment, helping out clients and DIVING EVERY DAY! Honestly, I don't have a bad word to say about my experience; everything was well put together and well ran by Kate and the other instructors. All of the instructors were amazing in helping me achieve my divemaster certification, from tips and tricks for helping me underwater to giving me advice on the best places to eat in town they knew it all! I am so glad that I had this experience with Blue Water Diving and I cannot recommend them enough to anyone who is thinking of doing an internship with them! Thank you Kate!

First time experiencing diving! It was great!
Great experience! The crew was really nice and very helpful, we were scared at first because it was our first time but we easily got comfortable with them. They were really patient and made sure we were in a safe environment. Thank you for this beautiful experience and if I do come back over here I will definitely have another try at diving with these people. Definitely recommend!😊

An excellent experience, highly recommended
This was one of our best experiences in Gran Canaria and returned again after two years. The staff could not be more friendly and helpful. My partner did the full experience whilst I could only snorkel on the surface due to my nervousness. Nothing was too much trouble and I cannot thank them enough for supporting and helping me through out. My partner also enjoyed the whole experience.

BRILLIANT!!! From start to finish, what a FANTASTIC time my family and I had. Greeted by well presented well mannered and fully knowledgeable staff. Made the whole family from young to old feel at ease as soon as we stepped through the door. Our nerves soon melted away. From our chats to the serious stuff all the way from getting us kitted up and then what can we say about the dive..... it was because of the staff we felt so at ease! Would highly recommend this dive centre... felt like family by the time we left. Thank you so much guys.... See you next year ☺️
