Description
We are one of the few locally owned/operated surf schools on the North Shore of Oahu. We have been teaching surfing for over 20 years and love to pass on our knowledge of surfing to anyone willing to learn! There is no better place to learn how to surf then the birth place of surfing! Lessons are for for all ages and all levels. Surfboard and rash guard will be provided for the lesson. The beach we teach at is also a very popular beach for seeing turtles, I'm sure we will see a few during our surf lesson. Learn from the best and come surf with us! We are also one of the only surf schools with fluent Japanese speaking instructors!

Point Break at Chuns Beach
I love the surfing experience. Kalani is a great coach and is very very skilled. This guy is a beast. He wants you to catch that wave just as bad as you want to catch the wave. We had a Point Break moment when it was raining and windy and I’m glad Kalani was there as our surfing instructor. I would recommend him to anyone who is in search of a surfing coach. Great job Kalani. Mahalo.

Surf lesson
100/10 experience! Our guide was so helpful and patient with my friend who was a little scared to get started! I’ve never surfed before and by the end of the lesson I felt so confident and comfortable on the board! If you’re on the fence about booking just do it, it’s so worth it!!! Cannot say enough good things about this experience🤙🏾

Surf Lesson
We booked a beginner surf lesson for a kid and an adult. Kalani was so great! He was exceptionally positive and encouraging! He was able to gauge what each person needed and adapt to that. We highly recommend this surf school!!

Amazing Surfing Experience
So much fun!! It was my first time surfing ever and I was scared but my instructors made it very comfortable and took care of us! Our instructor was super funny and hyped us up to ride the waves. He kept us safe as well since the spot we were surfing at was kinda shallow. It was a very fun experience and felt taken care of the whole time.

Family surfing experience
Highly recommend this surf school! The instructors were friendly, encouraging and kind. We had four kids that took the lesson and all were able to stand up and ride a wave multiple times. The instructors were knowledgeable teachers and gave helpful feedback throughout the lesson. We cannot recommend this experience enough!

Beginner surf lesson on the North Shore!
Our family decided when in Hawaii….surf! We took a beginner lessons and were beyond pleased with our experience. Our instructors HUSTLED. I was so impressed by their ability to tow us on our surfboards, provide feedback and constant encouragement, and celebrate the lessons’ wins.

Fun, personalized
My lesson ended up being one-on-one and was fantastic. The spot was great, the parking was easy and close. I got to ride waves until I was wore out. It was a great start to vacation.

Absolutely Amazing First Time Experience!
Both Kalani and Keoni are amazing instructors! They both ensured our safety and supplied any and all equipment for my group's first time experience with surfing. From the beginning until the end of the lesson, they were both encouraging and extremely supportive. They stressed the importance of being patient, going at your own pace, having fun, all whip placing safety above everything else. If you have any concerns, be at ease. You'll be in great hands, catch some waves and have an amazing experience! And I say this as a person who doesn't even know how to swim!
This was definitely the highlight of my vacation!

Amazing and very professional instructor.
The instructor was very responsive when I had a question before the class. I do not speak English, and he found ways for us to understand each other; very professional and very kind. I recommend him 100%. If I return to Hawaii, I will book another class with him.
