We had a fantastic tour and would highly recommend it. Adam was a wonderful guide, delivering two hours of nonstop Charleston history in a vivid, story-like way. He brought to life the people and events that shaped the city, gave honest insights into slavery, politics, and power. Engaging and informative. Thank you. May 2026

Excellent!
Tour guide was very accommodating. We had to change date and he was great.
Information on tour was interesting and helpful. There were 3 of us and we all liked it. One person is in a wheelchair and there were no problems.

Just book it! You won’t regret it!
Adam made Charleston come alive for us. The cobblestone streets, historic homes, and hidden corners all felt layered with stories because of the way he shared them. He has a gift for blending facts with narrative, so the history feels meaningful rather than memorized.
It was informative, engaging, and genuinely enjoyable. If you want more than just dates and names, Adam is your guide.

Great guide, great experience!
My husband and I recently took the tour "Beauty and Tragedy" in Charleston. We learned about the company from a brochure in our hotel, Harbourview Inn. We reserved and paid online the day before. Booking was easy and professional and we received confirmation and the meetup location. We met Adam, the owner of the company and the tour began promptly at 10:00 am. We spent 2 1/4 hours with Adam, a complete professional. He took us all around Charleston, regaling us with stories of the founding, the Revolutionary War, the antebellum era, and the Civil War. He also shared some interesting facts and pointed out cool stuff on the houses and streets as we walked the roads and streets in the historic district. Highly recommend Adam and his company for a fun and professional tour!

Dive in to local history…
Adam was high energy, enthusiastic and extremely knowledgeable. If you are a history buff or just like to hear how this all became what it is today you are in for a treat. Encouraged and answered every question, and added little known context, people and occurrences that gave the experience real substance. Great storyteller. Highly recommended.

Historical learning experience
We learned so much about the history of this beautiful city. It was a beautiful day and we leisurely walked through the city and our guide pointed out many interesting things we would have simply walked by without noticing.
Highly recommend this tour and guide!
