3 of us went on the catamaran for a 5 hour cruise. This was definitely value for money. There was approximately 14-15 people on our cruise which was very comfortable in comparison to the size of the catamaran. We were fortunate to have had good weather, but I didn't think that mattered as the staff were very outgoing and friendly which was welcoming and this created a very comfortable atmosphere. It was a great experience watching the staff feeding the turtles and being able to literally be surrounded by fish whilst in the sea. Snorkelling was also a great experience. This trip best suits adults, but you don't have to be a great swimmer to enjoy this trip as again the staff were hands on, making sure that they looked out for anyone that felt vulnerable in the sea.

Description
Take a fun and relaxing catamaran cruise along the west coast of Barbados! On board a spacious schooner, sail to two different snorkeling spots, where you’ll see a shipwreck and swim in the clear Caribbean with sea turtles and colorful fish. A light breakfast snack and unlimited beverages are provided. Choose between two options — a 3-hour cruise that’s great for families with small children, or a 5-hour cruise that includes lunch.
Tour Options
Itinerary
After hotel pickup, head to the marina in Bridgetown to board your catamaran, El Tigre, a 60-foot-long (18-meter) and 24-foot-wide (7-meter) schooner that’s big enough to carry 50 passengers but is limited to 36 per cruise to provide more space. The boat offers both shady and uncovered areas so you can choose to sit wherever you’ll be more comfortable. Pull out of the marina and head along the west coast of Barbados, enjoying the sea breeze on your face and admiring the picturesque coastline. While you sail, just relax, sipping a cup of coffee or a glass of juice, rum punch or beer, and enjoy a slice of coconut bread.
Make your way to your first snorkeling spot, where you should be able to see sea turtles. Spend 45 minutes snorkeling, and then hop back on board the boat to sail to your second snorkeling location, a shipwreck that has become a habitat for many tropical fish. You have another 45 minutes to snorkel here. If you choose the 3-hour option, you’ll then be dropped off at a west coast beach, where your cruise ends. Your transportation will be waiting for you at this beach to return to your hotel. If you select the 5-hour option, continue along the west coast to a third location, where you’ll stop to enjoy lunch onboard the boat. Then hop in the water to cool off, swimming up to the nearby beach, if you wish, for a stroll along the sand. Back on board, enjoy a cocktail and listen to soca — a style of Caribbean calypso music — while the boat returns you to the marina in Bridgetown, where your cruise ends. Unlimited drinks (soda, beer and rum punch) are provided on both cruise options.

The crew was great very helpful, safety conscience, organized and kept the boat spotless. The drinks were flowing, music playing and the food was excellent.
My lovely experience today was super ...from booking, to pick-up from my hotel, to onboarding the most comfortable catamaran sail boat, and then the best ever snorkeling adventure! We swam with only 1 turtle, but thats okay because we swam with beautiful fish of all colors ... as close as I was to them could never touch a single one! Our captain & crew were great and we never went wanting for anything! The history lessons were entertaining, the careful guidance to the sunken sea vessels & the call of the fish made me feel safe & in good hands the entire day! The food was great, and we had your choice of drinks - bottomless! Five star rating!
We have been on many tours in various islands and I have to say this has been the best by far, all the crew were magnificent, joyful and willing to help in every way, from getting picked up at our hotel to being dropped off it ran so smoothly ( all over in a flash ). The equipment was cleaned after every use and plenty to go round, they gave us information whilst in the sea about the fish and the shipwrecks that we saw. Plenty of free drinks, lots of non alcoholic drinks. Now the food, it was amazing, fried fish ,chicken, salad, coleslaw, macaroni pie, seconds if you want it. Cake and coffee when you first board, and cake on the return journey. All in all a fantastic day, with the crew and new friends. Please book this trip it is definitely value for money . Thanks guys . 🤩
We had such a fantastic experience from start to finish! The entire crew was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, and they really went out of their way to make sure everyone had a great time. The food was delicious, and the rosé wine and drinks kept flowing throughout the excursion. The highlight was definitely being out on the water and seeing so much incredible sea life. We saw plenty of colourful fish, explored the beautiful reef, and got to see the shipwrecks, which made the snorkeling experience even more memorable. Great atmosphere, great food and drinks, beautiful scenery, amazing snorkeling, and an exceptional crew. A perfect day on the water and definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommend!
A very enjoyable trip with pleasant, willing to serve your every need crew. Highly recommended
Amazing trip, picked up on time, driver pointing out some of the sights on the way. The crew on the Catamaran were amazing, lots of chat, fun and drinks. We stopped 4 times because we didn't see turtles the first stop, we saw them on the last stop. Loads of time in the water. 2 lots of yummy cake and lunch was delicious and loads of it. Highly recommend this tour. Only 8 of us on the tour.
This our second cruise with El Tigre (previously 2 years ago) and would gladly return again. The trip is very well organised and fantastic value for money. We were picked up from our villa and despite some initial confusion about our location, the communication was great and we were soon on board of our catamaran. The crew were friendly, attentive and looked after us. The food was wonderful and free drinks were flowing. We had fantastic snorkelling conditions, saw lots of beautiful fish (including puffer fish) and 2 turtles. The atmosphere was relaxed and the group size was small. 10 out of 10. Highly recommend.
From beginning to end, everything exceeded the expectations. The staff was professional, cheerful, friendly and made sure everyone had a wonderful experience. The boat and the entire cruise were clean, well-organized and very enjoyable. The snorkeling experience itself was unforgettable, I got to see so many beautiful fish and turtles and truly enjoy the whole experience. The trip was absolutely worth it and turned out to be one of the best thing of my vacation. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a memorable snorkeling experience!
Fantastic day, the boat was awesome and the staff so friendly and welcoming! Constantly topping up our drinks and waiting on us! Great vibe all around and the snorkeling was insane
