It was an amazing experience from start to finish. Great service, friendly staff and the food was amazing. Would definitely go again.
I booked directly with Shak and it was a seamless process. Our party had 13 Adults and 1 Minor. Captain Mik and Rico made us feel at home and comfortable regarding safety, fun, food, and drinks. This has become a family tradition during Crop Over that will continue for a long time! Thanks Dreams Staff!
Our Hotel booked us for the Dreams Catamaran turtle and snorkel tour and we had a very concerning experience with them. Our family was very excited for this tour and were looking forward to it from before the trip. Pick up and drop off were fine. Our issue was that one of the crew members named Haji crossed the line with my daughter. From early on Haji took an interest in her and stayed close to her and was flirting and very touchy feely. I expressed my concern to the Captain, Mik and he assured me that everything was OK and that Haji would be respectful. Everything seemed ok, then Haji invited my daughter and her sister and cousin to sit on the top deck and while they were there Haji bit my daughter's arm and licked it. My daughter told me about this after we got home and I immediately reported it to the hotel crew that booked the tour and demanded that they contact the catamaran manager immediately. They were able to get him on the phone for me and all he said was that he was sorry that happened. There was no other type of service recovery or assurance that the crew member would be addressed. We have traveled to many Islands and have never had an issue like this. Had I known in the moment, I would have dealt with this in real time but because I found out after I was not able to. It is a real shame that this crew member took advantage of us as guest. We placed our trust in them and paid our money for this tour and unfortunately had this experience. We hope that this will be addressed and will never happen to anyone else again.
The young man in question has been removed from service with us and is no longer apart of the team. Which was expressed to you on the call, he no longer works with or for the company and has been replaced by someone more in line with our standards and professionalism. Once again we apologize for this incident having taken place and thank you for bringing it to my attention, rest assured that it was swiftly dealt with and no one else will ever have such an experience with us again in the future.
With so many trips to chose from, I selected this one purely based on less reviews and slightly less priced than the others. The pick up was arranged at the closet hotel to our AirBnB but the driver went above and beyond and collected us from our front door, which was really appreciated. He also highlighted key landmarks along the way and we discovered the Barbados Museum which we went and visited later on our holiday. The catamaran was smaller than expected but holds 10 people comfortably with plenty of room, so great for smaller groups. Mik was excellent, I felt very safe as his safety induction was very thorough and he was friendly and professional. His 1st mate was also very good and both looked after us all very well. The snorkelling was amazing, saw so much around the ship wrecks, my sister had visited Barbados prior to the "Bajan Queen" party boat being sunk, so was surreal seeing it as sea life. The trip was excellent and I would highly recommend Mik and crew for a well catered and thorough experience. Great for a party experience but also perfect for our small family. My daughter was a little anxious as on a previous holiday she had experienced motion sickness but on this catamaran she did not and really enjoyed herself. No question was too much and it was great hearing about the local knowledge of what we could see along the coastline. We stopped at Holetown for lunch on the catamaran, a full plate of chicken, rice, fish, Mac pie and salad all delicious. Thank you Mik, this experience was amazing, I will be back soon 😊
My mom and I booked the 5-hour tour with Dreams Catamaran to celebrate my birthday, and it did not disappoint. From the moment we stepped aboard, the crew and captain were warm and welcoming, and it was clear that safety was a top priority throughout the trip — something we really appreciated. The snorkeling stop was a highlight, with beautiful visibility and multiple shipwrecks to explore. All the gear was provided — snorkels, noodles, floaties, and life vests — so we didn’t have to worry about bringing or renting anything. After that, we cruised over to a second beach for some relaxing swimming before enjoying a delicious lunch on board. We lucked out with gorgeous weather all day, which made everything even better. No sea turtle sightings this time, but as the captain wisely put it, “they’re wild creatures who do as they please.” Throughout the trip, the crew kept both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks flowing and were consistently attentive without being intrusive. It was a fun, relaxing, and memorable way to spend my birthday. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great day on the water!
Fantastic experience from start to finish! The crew was friendly, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel welcome. The catamaran was comfortable, the food and drinks were great, and the entire trip was well organized. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Barbados. It was one of the best parts of my vacation!
This was my girls and my first time. We knew we would have a wonderful time when we have a turtle grace us during boarding. And we had an absolute blast! Captain Mik did a wonderful job to making everyone feel comfortable and secure. The crew did an equally amazing job keeping the vibes and guiding us to a ship wreck. My youngest (2) wanted to hang with the big kids. So they pulled her along with a life saver. She didn't want to get out of the ocean. My two older (6/9) loved their first boat experience in the front of the boat. We spent 5hours and it just wasn't enough. Even my husband wasn't ready for it to end.
Captain Mik and First Mate Hakeem were professional, courteous, and amazing! They went out of the way to make sure our two boys (11 and 6) had an awesome experience. We saw a couple shipwrecks with fantastic marine life, and we saw many sea turtles on the second stop. The food was fantastic (his grandmother’s sweetbread recipe should be in the official cookbook of Barbados), and the drinks tasted even better on the water. I also appreciated their safety first approach that made sure the trip was memorable for the right reasons. Top notch firm and first class service. Perfect for a family and well worth the price! We would 1,000% sail with them again!
This was such an amazing experience! A must do in Barbados. Captain Mik, and the crew were so fun and truly catered to us. Even from the jump owner Shakir communicated properly with our group and we got to do so much fun activities while on the catamaran (shoutout to the unlimited drinks and food). A must book!
Starting this review with a disclaimer: my family's travel destinations often focus on great sailing and snorkeling spots. We signed up for this sailing excursion through Hilton Grand Vacations, and, sadly, it did not meet our experience and expectations for Hilton's special-event standards. This is a small, older catamaran, and while a smaller group sail, there were still four people too many on board. The crew was very nice and knowledgeable, and they served delicious rum punches and a tasty lunch with generous portions. We were disappointed with the snorkeling—we could not see the shipwreck due to cloudy water (no fault of theirs), and we were not offered another spot. (The shipwreck is close to shore from Carlisle Beach, so you can access it without going on a sailing trip.) There was never an opportunity to snorkel with turtles. Our second stop was for lunch at a lovely beach with swimming off the boat and to shore. This was the most enjoyable part of the trip. Sailing was minimal; the crew motor-sailed to our lunch spot, and 100% motored back close to the coast. We brought our own masks and snorkels; we were disappointed the boat did not offer fins, which is standard. Given the drawbacks, I would still recommend this boat and crew over the larger catamarans that take a LOT of people.
