Great time!

This was great! Our group was 7 people and we got to do a second shorter hike after because we still had some time. Our guide was prepared with everything we needed, including extra water and packs. The lunches were chicken wraps with chips, an apple, some cookies, and juice. Well worth the money!

Operator response

We’re thrilled your group enjoyed the bonus hike and felt well cared for by your prepared guide. It’s wonderful to hear that the lunch and overall experience were well worth the price!

Great guided hike…

We had a fantastic guided hike in Banff and it was one of the highlights of our trip. A huge thank you to our guide, Angela, who was absolutely brilliant. She was so knowledgeable about the local wildlife, plants, geology and the history of the area, and she shared everything in such an interesting and engaging way. You could really tell how passionate she is about Banff. Our group of 10 was the perfect size – big enough to meet some lovely people, but still small enough that everyone could hear, ask questions and enjoy the experience without feeling crowded. The scenery was breathtaking, the pace was just right, and Angela made sure everyone felt included and comfortable throughout the hike. We learned so much while enjoying some incredible views. I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Banff. If you’re lucky enough to have Angela as your guide, you’re in for a fantastic experience!

Operator response

We’re thrilled your guided hike was a highlight of your trip and that Angela’s passion, knowledge, and care made the experience so engaging and comfortable for everyone. Thank you for your wonderful recommendation, and we’ll be delighted to share your kind words with Angela!

Stanley Glacier hike

A great hike! Beautiful scenery and Patrick was a fabulous guide with expertise on sites all over the world. He was very organized and considerate of slower hikers. The hike was a bit too strenuous for us but Patrick got us through it, it was a 6-7 hour hike (approx 3 hours up and 3 hours down) with a very rocky trail at times. It was well worth the effort for the breathtaking views. There was even an added bonus - a visit to Marble Canyon - a must see!!!

Operator response

Thank you for the thoughtful review! We’re glad Patrick’s organization, expertise and care helped your group complete the beautiful Stanley Glacier hike. We also appreciate your note about the difficulty and duration, which is helpful feedback for setting guest expectations.

Wonderful adventure with wonderful guides

We went on our first hike to Plain of the Six Glaciers with Ashley. It was one of the loveliest days of our trip — Ashley was such a lovely guide, so knowledgeable and kind. We loved it so much that we booked another hike to Stanley Glacier for the next day, and we were not disappointed. Our guide that day was Poppy, and it was just as spectacular. Both Ashley and Poppy were wonderful, and we had a great time with them! With Poppy, we even spotted a grizzly on the road, and she kindly turned the van around so we could see it again — such a thoughtful gesture. The lunch was really tasty too!

Operator response

What a wonderful review—thank you! We’re delighted that your first hike to the Plain of Six Glaciers with Ashley inspired you to join us again at Stanley Glacier the very next day. We’ll be sure to share your kind words with both Ashley and Poppy. It sounds like the surprise grizzly sighting, Poppy’s thoughtful turnaround, the spectacular scenery, and a tasty lunch made your adventures especially memorable. We’re so glad we could be part of two of the loveliest days of your trip!

First time hikers

We had an absolutely fantastic time on this guided hike, all thanks to Jeff and Mikayla! As first-time hikers, we naturally fell behind the rest of the group, but they both went above and beyond to make sure we were always alright. They continuously encouraged us and advised us to just move at our own pace, which completely took the pressure off and allowed us to actually enjoy the journey. The hike itself was wonderful, and while it was definitely challenging for beginners, the view at the top was absolutely worth every single step. We couldn't have asked for better guides. Thank you, Jeff and Mikayla—you guys are the best!

Operator response

This made our day to read, and we'll make sure Jeff and Mikayla see this! So glad your Banff National Park Guided Hike with Lunch experience lived up to the trip. Thank you for taking the time to share it.
