Description
Boat trip in the Arrábida Natural Park, from the village of Sesimbra towards Cabo Espichel. Wild beaches, stunning bays, caves and cliffs are some of the features of this magnificent tour. Set off on an adventure to discover all the splendor of this unique ecosystem. You will enjoy the landscape, visit and dive in the crystal clear waters of the famous Ribeiro do Cavalo beach, which in 2017 was considered the best beach in Europe. You will visit the mythical beaches of Mijona and Inferno, as well as the famous beach of Baleeira, where you will have the opportunity to learn a little about the history of the ancient fishermen and whale hunters of the region. During this stop, liqueur typical of the Setúbal region will be served (only for people over 18 years old). Then, we will sail towards Cabo Espichel, where we will observe the magnificent caves and cliffs of the place. After all the adventure, we will return to the Port of Sesimbra, where the experience ends.

The tour will start at the Porto de Abrigo de Sesimbra. Then, we will enjoy the surrounding landscape, visit and dive in the crystal clear waters of the famous Ribeiro do Cavalo beach, which in 2017 was considered the best beach in Europe. The tour will head west, where we will visit the mythical beaches of Mijona and Inferno, beaches of unique beauty. Continuing through the Arrábida Natural Park, we will visit the famous Baleeira beach, where you will have the opportunity to learn a little about the history of ancient fishermen and whale hunters. They will have the opportunity to dive or snorkel in the transparent waters of this beach. During this stop, typical liquor from the Setúbal region will be served (exclusively to people over 18 years old).
Then, we will sail towards Cabo Espichel, where we will observe the magnificent caves and cliffs of the place. From the sea, we will be able to see one of the oldest lighthouses in the country, the Cabo Espichel Lighthouse. After all the adventure, we will return to the Port of Sesimbra, where the experience ends.

An absolutely incredible outing! 🌊☀️
We had an exceptional time discovering the secret beaches and magnificent caves of Arrábida. The landscapes are simply breathtaking, with turquoise water and places accessible only by boat. 🤩 The stop for snorkeling was also great: magnificent water, superb seabed, and a real feeling of escape. 🐠 The guides were really great, very friendly, professional, and attentive. They contributed greatly to making this experience even more pleasant and memorable. 😊 It is clearly one of the best moments of our stay in Portugal. 🇵🇹❤️ An activity that I recommend 100% and that I would do again without hesitation! ⛵️🌊

Stunning and beautiful
This boat and tour experience was wonderful! Our guide, Chantelle, was experienced and knowledgeable, and we learned so much. We enjoyed every minute and highly recommend the experience. We took an uber from Lisbon (only 35 euros), had lunch on the coast in Sesimbra, then walked 25 minutes to the pier to catch the boat. An amazing day swimming in the stunning waters and seeing a beautiful part of Portugal!

A Great 3 Hour Tour Adventure
This was a fantastic adventure. Had family in visiting in Sesimbra and picked this group for the boat trip. We hit numerous beaches, and heard many historical pieces about Sesimbra and Portugal along the way. Water was chilly - but many of us still got in for a dip in the beautiful sea. Highly recommend this boat experience.

After making the booking...
After making the booking , five days later they emailed and changed the date , and the day before the activity that we booked we get email from Avitar that they are processing us a refund to our card. The operator never contacted us . Real bad customer service.

Boating afternoon
The tour captain and tour guide were excellent. I gave them a 5 star as I don't want to ruin their status, but the boat is not the one pictured. You have to straddle a large bumper for the entire ride and may not be comfortable for some. When booking the trip, the maximum was 8, but as they changed the boat, the tour was then made for 12 people. We were not looking for that kind of a tour, but again the staff was very professional, and the captain navigated the waters well. The scenary, beaches stops and caves were wonderful. The water was too cold to swim.
