Appleton Estate YS Falls & Black River from Montego Bay or Negril

The Black River cruise was amazing seeing the crocodiles up close and able to touch them. They seemed to be semi-tamed. And to see the exotic birds and to see a fisherman’s catches of blue crabs. The YS Falls were exhilarating. The falls looked treacherous at first but the guides were very experienced and the rocks weren’t slippery like I expected. We had an elderly couple that was with us and they did not back out of anything we were doing. Shouts out to Deb and Jim! The Distillery Rum tour was excellent. Very informative. Rum punch was out of this world. Wish we could have more rum samples. I highly recommend this tour. Just be ready for a bumpy ride. Roads many potholes!

If i coild leave zero stars I would. We unfortunately did NOT get to experience our excursion. The trip was booked, funds deducted and scheduled. Literally 12 hours before we were supposed to be picked up I received a call stating that the trip was cancelled due to not enough people signed up( mind you this was not stated prior to booking). They tried to reschedule for the weekend which i told them repeatedly that we were leaving out Thursday to return home. They claimed that a full refund would be issued. Over night the funds were drawn from the account, reservation marked to confirmed and message sent to be in hotel lobby at 9am. No one arrived to pick us up. Going through customer service, no answer one the phone and customer chat we were rescheduled yet again for Saturday when we will not be here. Highly disappointed in the treatment received by customer service and the whole experience. Will not ve using Viator ever again!

Alisha was great! She is knowledgeable and funny and made the tour so much fun. Plus you get to drink a variety of rums!

A must visit. You can spend a whole day at ys falls. Take a picnic and enjoy the man made swimming pools with fresh mountain water. The rum tour is amazing and I'd say 1 of the best attractions on the island. Ys and black river area where hit hardest by the hurricane so this area needs tourism to help rebuild so please head that way.

Great bartuff service and great tour guide service . It was very informative . From the security to the front desk clerk was very warm, and then the bartuff Andra allows us to have crazy fun with jenga and then shamoy top it off with the a great tour

We very much enjoyed our trip down the black river. We saw several crocodiles, and our boat captain actually called one over to the boat, (he came), and the captain leaned down and splashed a little water on him. (Kicking myself here, I can’t remember what the crocs name was). Anyway, we continued on down the river which was very unique and pretty, and saw several different bird species. The YS Falls were absolutely gorgeous! We took pictures and got into mineral pool. (Very relaxing). At the Appleton Estate, we had a tasty lunch, and toured the rum making process. Very interesting, and the grounds were beautiful too. Then we had a rum tasting with three different rums, five for the distinguishing tasters. And YES, I bought my favorite rum!, I would go again!

Appleton Estates was great. Alesa did a great job. Black River was a blast. The tour was well knowledge about the River. The waterfalls was simply amazing.

We really enjoyed this trip. The tour company were really helpful. Fantastic driver. Great value for money.
