The three waterfalls hike is moderately strenuous. Wear good hiking shoes with no slip grips. The first 35 minutes is at between a 25º and 30º angle (that is just past the first waterfall and as far as we went. We would have liked to have gone to see the square trees (about a 40 min round trip from hotel Campeste) but time was not in our favour. It is about a 2 1/2 h drive one way so be prepared.
Beautiful tranquility. A lovely day spent soaking in the thermals walking the rope bridge and enjoying the waterfall. The day was rounded out with a peaceful lunch at a quaint inn. Highly recommend and it was easy to access the guide from the cruise terminal
