Follow the jungle trails and climb the Gran Basamento, where impressive structures and views of Temple One rising above the surrounding jungle reveal a different perspective of this ancient city. Spend approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes exploring the Chacchoben Mayan Ruins with your guide, discovering an ancient ceremonial center surrounded by tropical jungle. Walk among impressive temples and restored structures while learning about this Maya city, which reached its peak around 300 AD. Follow the jungle trails to the Gran Basamento, where you can climb the ancient platform for beautiful views of Temple One and the surrounding jungle.
