Ali Rose was very knowledgeable and gave great humor. She was very entertaining and made the transfer trip very enjoyable!! Would definitely do this again!
Outstanding guide! Wildlife Refuge was great - got to walk alongside Brown and Black Bears!! YouTube Whittier before you go…tunnel and history are incredible. Would have liked more definitive pick up time and instructions. Tickets said one time, description said another, and getting there (airport pickup), there isn’t an info desk, so a little stressful until the bus actually shows up. Once it does, the guide is amazing and the process is quick and smooth.
Thank you for your kind words! We’re so glad to hear you enjoyed your guide, the Wildlife Center, and the experience through Whittier. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the pickup time and instructions. Since Viator is a reseller, their platform can be somewhat limiting when it comes to clearly displaying multiple pickup locations and times. Our confirmation email does include the pickup times, notes that pickups begin downtown first followed by the airport, and provides the airport pickup location details. That said, we understand how this can still feel stressful when traveling. We appreciate you sharing your experience and are happy to hear that once the coach arrived, the process was quick and efficient.
It was a very hectic morning at the hotel meeting spot. Multiple buses and hundreds of people were waiting for transportation. The guide that oversaw us all getting on the correct bus was friendly and helpful and reassured us they would not leave without us. Joe, our driver was great. Took all of the riders luggage ( which was a lot) and packed it under bus. We climbed aboard the bus and Joe gave us an educational, funny and warm guide about the area and its people. At the animal sanctuary we saw a lot of species of Alaskas wildlife that the sanctuary rescue and protect. You will definitely see moose and bear here if you don’t see them out in the wild. Upon arriving at Whittier, Joe helped us off, got our bags and directed us to the ship entry. Joe was a very safe driver and overall the experience was really enjoyable. I would highly recommend this travel transfer to Whittier.
Great knowledgeable guide and safe driver to take us from Anchorage to Whittier with nice stop at the wildlife conservation center.
Nice way to get from Anchorage hotel to cruiseport. Scenic view. Large luggage went directly to our cabin.
This was a wonderful way to transfer to our cruise ship. Our driver, Ginny, was marvelous! She is very knowledgeable and has a witty personality.
The views of the bays and glaciers are awesome and the Alaskan Wildlife Conservation Center is well worth the time.
This is the perfect way to get from Anchorage to Whittier. Bus was comfortable. We enjoyed the stop at the Animal Conservation Center.
Amelia the driver was excellent. So much knoledge, happy and very nice.
More than just a way to get to the cruise ship. Part of the adventure. Clean bus. Caitlin was our driver. She was a good, safe driver. She communicated with us the whole way. Giving us fun facts along the way. The wildlife conservation center was a nice, safe way to see wild animals up close. We even saw several mothers with babies. We arrived at the cruise port on schedule. Highly recommend.
